Title reminds me of the fan fic of shirou turning into illya. But no Chloe is the main illya that got sealed so illya stole her life as the second personality that formed. Imagine being a observer in your own body. Chloe was tame for what most would do if in that situation like Kiara and the god pillar
Shirou would unlock the illya route. Short sweet to the point. Oh and her and Rin would definitely work together to keep luvia from shirou and another addition to the Rin harem is born. Oh and archer illya
I think this is an interesting take for character interpertation reasons. Kuro's FULL wish that she makes on the grail is "I want family. I want friends. I want to live a normal, everyday life. But ... More than that ... More than anything ... I don't want to dissapear! I just ... I want to live!" So clearly as much as she has some deep seated issues with Illya for taking her place in the body as a new personality after Irisviel sealed her away post 4th HGW, and denied Kuro her brithright as an Einzbern, Kuro still wants a normal life more than all of that. So a story in which Kuro gets to have a slice of life adventure, in her original body, seems pretty interesting.
Kuro gives me this feeling of her wearing excessively mature clothing as an attempt to seem more mature than she is, she was sealed away and had no life until she got free and almost lost that freedom again, so she overcompensates with an immature view of maturity, an fake maturity that’s only surface level because that’s practically all she can understand.
Well she is mature as we see her head pat miyu verse shirou as he gives her origin bullet while giving him advice. Plus with asking irisviel on what happened to the einzberg since Kerry offed them so she didn't have a purpose anymore. Her clothing is basically in an attempt to get onii chan's attention and most of those are anime only anyways since she like illya fell in love with shirou but is more of a tease since like og illya Chloe can switch it on and off from cat like to normal. Plus she gets jealous like a normal girl when illya gets a kiss from shirou and reads BL
Dark Illya taking over Illya makes this interesting. I can understand the entire Illya x Kuro Illya shipping. There is an episode in Season 2.5 that goes into that sort of shipping.
This was a neat video. I wouldn't mind more Type moon fanfic reviews if you're willing to do more. For this what if, I expected it to be more different, but it turned out to be pretty tame with deviations which is a bit disappointing. Although I do like the extra depth Kuro's emotions get here. This fanfic has what I like about kaleid, but what I feared when you said you were gonna read it. Kaleid is a very lewd lolicon show, so having a non-lolicon read it is not only a bit embarrassing, but I can feel the cringe you felt.

You don't need to show a character and exit every room - M Night: I disagree just look ad the masterpiece that is Avatar The Last Narotation, you don't even need to look ad the screen.
I have to say,it's interesting although I have to admit it has some issues,even if it has good ideas and some of them actually fix issues that the source work has,despite that,it kinda gave me the answer to why it's hard to make fanfics of already existing works,many of us would have different interpretations of what certain characters' actions can mean,unless the original author says the true meaning of that,so it can be a hard pill to swallow to look to another,fully different view of that action,moreso if it has an "objectively" flawed execution of said meaning,that and the fact that,unless the story itself and the characters are so loose that can give a lot of different outcomes to certain events,you could run in the issue of making the characters feel,given the redundancy,'out of character'.

One thing at hit could’ve been changed is now that Kuro has Avalon she can install the Saber card and with Excalibur and Avalon on her side Fragarach can’t hurt her due to Avalons absolute defensive capabilities and Basett while strong wouldn’t be able to deal with Saber enhanced Kuro and Archer Miyu simultaneously and they could’ve won the fight.

I have never seen the anime before reading this story and the author does a great job explaining how the world works and what is going on. I do agree that the chapters do get bogged down with details that we don't need, but you FAILED to mention WHY Rin and Luvia are different in this story. When you brought up that Rin is more mature in this story, you gloss over the fact that Luvia managed to brainwash Rin early on in the story and gloss over Luvia's own arch on how she treats Rin. Overall, I'm enjoying the story and can't wait to see how it plays out.
@otakudaikun I wasn't confused and I've never seen the anime. I sometimes think that being too familiar with a show can sometimes keep us from being open to others interpretation when they write thier own stories inspired by the show.
Last time I was so early reviews of fan fiction by such big name RUclipsrs were rare. Last time I was so early Kuro was already an underestimated character.

I can't say I honestly have a favorite Type Moon fanfic, I don't usually care for them. While this one at first sounded great. I was left feeling like I might as well just watch the anime course I'm not really getting anything new.
It might sound like an excuse but to be fair there's only so much one can do with reworking a series that's part of a larger universe. Like my fan theory that Illya is both 18 and 10 years old at the start of the series, since we know that it takes a huge strain on Kiritsugu for Time Alter and Illya has superior Circuits could it be possible that Kiritsugu used Time Alter on her to make her both alive and dead for eight years while doing surgery on her (basically doing the reverse of what her grandpa did)
i _would_ consider checking this story out, but i'm not reading it on deviant art of all places. if it gets posted somewhere sensible like ao3 or ffnet i'd check it out. i'd also suggest checking out space battles, and maybe questionable questing
If you know any other platforms I could post this on, I'd certainly be interesting. During the few years it took to write this, DAs been getting stricter.
