Insanely talented is an understatement! Mod Blkwitch and her team are crucial for bringing RS3 into the next decade, graphically and in general. Everything she's worked on has been just stellar, beautifully designed and high quality.
Damn I really loved this episode, the talent we have creating for our game is just so insane. We are lucky to have so many mods putting out great content and stories.
Amazing interview as always. However! I have a constant concern that every single graphical overhaul, or area "refresh" may be pretty taxing for the client, and that's one of the reasons we have so many slowdowns, lag, and an overall feeling of "sluggishness", all because of this lack of optimization in the game, and this has been more prevalent on Mobile since the wilderness update. But it's also refreshing to know we have so many talented Jmods working on the game, that's very reassuring and i'm thankful for these interviews :)
Aha! So it IS gnomes all the way down! Besides this mighty revelation, I hope we one day get that corpse ocean Erebus idea in game. It makes for a very good motivator to really underline what we would be protecting Gielinor from. Showing and letting a player feel and experience the price of failure can make for a very exciting and interesting motivator, as it really displays what is at stake. Even space bar warriors would likely be taken aback by just suddenly finding themselves in a Bloodborne-esque complete horror show location. Leng would be fascinating to pay a visit to. Especially because it opens the door to the idea of visiting all the ancient magic affiliated plains and learning a great deal more about their respective magics. And with magic eventually getting boosted along with the other combat skills, does this not sound like an amazing way to pick up new spells? Magic Gielinor has never seen or witnessed before made manifest. Truly ancient, old magic that is so rare and obscure, only the most well traveled beings who have roamed the deepest regions of the cosmos can hope to discover their secrets. Sounds adventurous, sounds Runescapey, and sounds like absolutely amazing amounts of fun with mysteries and intrigue a plenty! Not to mention how traveling outside of Gielinor is dangerous with a very angry Zamorak out there. Imagine going to Leng and seeing all that is there in the frozen world? The gigantic glacors shadow and decimated snow devoured ruins. Only to get our que that it's time to go as Zamorak begins to crash down into the planet's cold, suffocating, freezing atmosphere like a fiery meteor of death with his desire to destroy us as we are outside the Edicts of Guthix? So far, our characters have been limited to using other people's secrets and knowledge by being taught spells. At level 99 magic and beyond, one is a master wizard. So perhaps it would be a fun spin to discover some for ourselves and thus truly make them ours in a sense by delving into the deeper planar realms to unlock and learn the oldest of magics? The student has become the master. Let the creation from the rites of old begin!
Love it! I still listen your last one back once a week. Tho, i love her! Wat a great peraon and mod. She almost convinced me to go play rs3 just by her energy
