    Dam removal is great, but where is the protective device mandated by the Clean Water Act, to isolate work area turbidity discharges from the greater body of the river?

      this dam didnt have them. that was bloede dam that did.

    Okay, latter this month we have the Orionid meteor shower, debris from Halley's comet. Peak viewing 20-22 Oct, late to early morning. Orion, the radiant will be up about 8-10 degrees (belt stars) near 11:30 PM on 21-Oct in the east. Full Moon is 24th but weather permitting, we may see some Orionids :)
