Congratulations on the decision to make more slow lifestyle changes to your diet. That's really the only way to do it properly. I did the same thing a few years back (I'm around your age) and lost the forty pounds I needed to lose to be healthy. Also slowly incorporated exercise into my life at the same time, which is another thing you might consider. It was a long road for me and took a few years to get it all under control but man is it worth it. I feel so much better, have so much more energy, and will most likely live a longer, happier life. Good luck on your slow, permanent changes! You've already done well with adding more water in your life a couple years back. That was a big first step.
I'm 5'9, was pushing 250 lbs gave up sugar (cut back to next to nothing) I'm 185 lbs now....sugar is a sweet silent killer. There is enough sweetness in cream to satisfy for ice or hot coffee.....
I make my own ice green tea & honey 6 oz of honey to 128 oz of h2o (10 bags of grn tea) only one 8 oz glass a day if that....I eat nature valley cereal w/ wild blueberries (when I crave something sweet) I make my own ice coffee (rarely have hot anymore) w/ 1/2 & 1/2 (just a splash). lots of ice h2o & one 8 oz of 1% or 2% milk a day. If I have things that are too sweet now days it is gross. I have a lot of Italian in laws so I have Italian sweets at holidays ( the flavor comes from fat not sugar) once you lose weight do not be afraid of unsat fat. I walk 3-5 miles a day 4-7 days a week (don't run anymore don't want hip or knee replace). Wean yourself off of sugar & it will taste gross to you in time.....
Beautiful! Even though time passes and things change, you can always go home again in the Land of Memory. The poem "House by the Side of the Road" is so meaningful. It was read at the funeral of a dear friend of mine. Thanks for all you do, Adam! I greatly look forward to your future travels.
Can ya send some of that Florida warmth and sun up here to Minnesota??? I'm needing a healthy dose of Vitamin D!! 😘 Keep doing what you're doing! Your goodness and positivity is contagious!
nice to go home and reminisce sometimes. sad to see so many empty storefronts. a lot of small towns here had this problem. some have turned it around by developing food and beverage business.
Its bad enough we can't see or hear anything Hitchcock without associating it with you (not a bad thing, btw) but now whenever we watch the Waterboy you are forever embedded in our viewing experience. Thanks Adam.
Holy Heck. I was there too for Waterboy in 98!! Seeing Adam Sandler and Henry Winkler too. We got our tickets from a Dunkin Donuts to be an extra. Pizza for lunch. Good day!
At the time, I never knew they only used part of the stadium in movies. So if they needed to film from a different angle, the small crowd of extras in the stands moved too. Mind blown.
The birds were just welcoming you back home. I know you are glad to be back, love the reminiscing. Relax for the next few weeks before the next road trip, it sounds like you will be going full steam ahead.
I wouldn't call it progress that these stores have closed or moved, most just closed. It's been happening to small towns all over the country. You've seen that in your visits to many small towns you were just recently at. Abandoned, closed stores. I blame both the internet and mega stores like Costco, BJ's, Wallmart etc. Shopping online is easy and fast these days, and the prices are right since there's no rent to pay on a store, or employees. Delivered right to your door for free in many cases. These little in-town stores can't compete with that, plus higher rents today doesn't help either. Look at all the malls that have closed too, or only have a few stores open. It's a shame and sad. So, no, you don't want that little store many of us have dreamed about at one time or another. I know I have.
Love your St. Cloud vlogs. The town feels a bit as home to me as well after seeing it in your video's. Enjoy the time with your family and have a good rest!
Adam, I admire your courage to do what's in your heart and ambitions to follow your dreams. You're an inspiration to a lot of folks including me. Life's a garden, and you're digging it! Keep up the good work my friend.
thank you for your videos! so glad I found this channel recently and can wake up and watch them every morning. I hope to meet you sometime when you are in new Orleans ! have a great day
glad to see you back home again! we Woovians support you 100% of the way. I can't believe you were in the Waterboy!!!! that so cool dude! anyways, get some rest brother, and we look foward to your next video. Thanks Adam. -Jeremy Debary, Fl
It's funny to think about this ... You were in an Adam Sandler movie when he was as hot as a star could be and no one knew who you were. Today, you have over 117,000 subscribers and Adam's meteoric star has cooled considerably. Well done, sir.
Yeah and today, everyone watching the vlog knows who AdamTheWoo is, and as they were watching, probably scratched their head and asked, "Who is Adam Sandler?" Lol
He makes more money these days producing than acting. If you ever watch a movie or TV show and it says Happy Madison on it, that is Sandler's production company.
Adam you never disappoint me in your vlogs! I love seeing other states through your eyes. If you ever come through NC, i hope to see you again (I met you at epcot in September).
That's so cool that you are in the movie! How did you find out they were filming? Been an extra myself in a couple of TV shows: SeaQuest DSV with Roy Scheider and Family Matters with Jaleel White (Steve Urkel.)
Florida is sunnier with you in it. Did you ever watch the Gong Show? Chuck Barris passed and Gene Gene the Dancing Machine passed last year. Don't forget the movie locations in Deland.
Adam, the Florida vlogs are my favorite! So excited that you're back in the Sunshine state. The weather is always so cheery in the background, I love the blue skies & Palm trees! ❤️ Love Justin Scarred & Tim & Jenn Tracker, these 2 weeks are going to be wicked awesome. ☀️🌴☀️🌴🍍🌽🍓
Sad to see your home town like that, another year or two and it may look empty and unloved like some of the other towns you have visited in the past couple of months......... progress may be good for some, but costly for others. When the bird crossed the road............... you should of said.............. heavy plant crossing.......... well it was a crane.............. Happy travels Adam, love to your family.
How amazing your commitment to these daily vlogs, I and a lot of other people really enjoy watching them every day, however everyone needs a real break now and then and I certainly understand if you ever need some time to not upload. Like a vacation. We need you refreshed, rejuvenated. My point is don't let yourself get burnt out, we'll be here waiting if you ever need a break!!
Adam, I've been watching your daily show now for years and I love it since you and carpet bagger are such great friends since you both do so much together and are very normal in today's world.. I also watch Jordan the Lion and also Scott Michaels Dearly Departed. Y'all 4-guys do a great service and I pray for y'all 4-guys to continue what y'all love to do Adam the Woo. Take-Care, Larry Irwin Jr, From Corpus Christi Texas..
It's rare that I comment, but I so enjoy your work. Some vlogs more than others, but i enjoy each of them. I noticed your affinity for old signs... when and if you come back to Cincinnati there is an awesome stop that I think you might really dig... The American Sign Museum.
A look back in your old hometown. There are many shops empty, online shopping wins. There are very many people in the waterboy, but now you know what you look like. Nice to find the name of your sister. A good time with your family
+AdamtheWoo , I love your videos when I had a bad day at work I come home take a shower grab me something to eat and relax and wind down and escape for awhile Thanks for making my day brighter
glad to hear your eating better, get yourself some prebiotics, enzymes, and a good quality vitamin, you will feel even better, more fruits and veggies, less meats.try to quit soda it's very bad for yourself. need to know more let me know
The last time you were back in St.Cloud your vids inspired me to go and visit my childhood home. The owners actually allowed me to have a look around. Strange to see places you haven't been to in over 30 years and yet have so many vivid memories. Thank you Adam. Great vlog as always.
Martin Gregory I wish I could do that. My childhood home was destroyed in 2013 in a tornado. The whole area I grew up in has changed a lot due to multiple tornados and progress.
I'm always surprised how much we lived in common. I grew up in Florida, used to hang out in tarpon springs, watching the Toronto Blue Jays do Spring Training, catching fly balls, getting players to sign them. I too made the same deal with my parents, GED, but only if I attended PHCC for at least a semester. Shortly after that I moved into my van and drove back and forth across Florida for a few years, bouncing between Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville. And one more thing, I also have a habit of conversing with cows, and making wind sounds. (I live in SC now, raising children, cultivating fig trees, and building prototypes of inventions I have developed.) BTW, my kids have Adam the Woo T-shirts. I bought them to wear, but they puppy dog eyed me and I lost the shirts to "the cuteness."
Ah that's so cool! The Waterboy is a cracking film :) . I always enjoy seeing your visits to St. Cloud,it looks like a really lovely place. Have a great time :)
Who knows , there might be a museum for you in one of those little stores in your home town where you grew up . Thanks Adam for sharing a little bit about you and where you use to live .
Love these tours you do of St Cloud I lived there for half a year in 1997 to early Feburary 98. Rented a room on the 3rd floor of the St Cloud Hotel. I was there when they filmed in The Hunter Arms Hotel. Saw Henery Winkler and Adam Sandler. If I had anything orange to wear I could of been an extra. Alot has changed there since then as I watch your videos. Thanks Adam
thank you for taking us back to where your heart lives Mr. Woo! you are so right, our hometown is never far from our heart and mind, it is always that place of comfort...I enjoy when you go to St. Cloud for many reasons, but number one is because I know you are getting closer to your incredible mom and dad who always make your vlogs so special! as always, safe travels friend... love and hugs from Seattle! 💕
TheDailyWoo awwww... thanks for the reply! I never expect one, because I realize how much of your life you already dedicate to us woovians......but IT IS very special getting one! that is one of the MANY reasons you are sooooooo loved!💕
Crazy how close we actually live near each other Adam. I've been watching your videos for awhile now. And I live in Kissimmee off of 192 going towards poinciana. Keep up the good work
I’m a preacher, church of Christ and I live in a parsonage (church owned house) in AK. As previously offered, if you want to film in AK, let me know. I will accommodate you.
Adam I'm from the UK and nearly a year ago we were staying off the 192 in Kissimmee off Westside BLVD we're big Disney fans and I'm a big space fan so have spent a decades dreaming about going to Walt Disney World in Florida. We loved it so much the place felt like home. I love your channel and your adventures and look forward everyday to see what you've been up to. When you go back home Florida and Disney it makes me feels like I'm back there too. Maybe one day we'll get back there gonna have to hope for a lottery win cos it's really expensive to get over to the US. We might be off to Disneyland Paris this year, hey maybe one day your adventures will take you there to.
Near my house. Glad you showed the lake! I love living in St Cloud. And downtown is cool.though a bit sparse. And our living sculptures...the Sandhill cranes! Not to mention our daily chorus of birdsong!
TheDailyWoo Yes, he is a very nice guy! My wife and I met him once a long time ago at Downtown Disney. He shook our hands and was very cool about saying hello.
Real life and you. I really like these vlogs. So much great scenery and so many interesting places. The bass fishing in that part of Fl is legendary. Why aren't you fishin' ?
So nice to have a thinking and reflecting place near water. Sad to say the ocean is over 300 miles from us. We are landlocked but I love the mountains here. It's nice to go outside after dark and look up at all of the stars in the sky.
About finding Adam the woo in the scene when he was at the stadium seats it reminds of wheres Waldo because of finding that person that’s why and except it was kinda easy sometimes hard if people didn’t know where he ishe is at the bottom which is cool a RUclipsr before he was famous is in a famous good comedy movie of the late 90s about college football
Thank You Adam for taking us on your amazing travels.I don't travel myself as it stresses me out and it's never been part of my bucket list.I am curious if you have ever been to Vancouver Canada? Your journey's seem to all be in the Southern States. Thank you for the daily smiles 8 ))
That’s awesome you were in the water boy Adam! My grandmas neighbor is in it too! The final scene where the crowd runs the field! He’s The only black guy in the shot! Love your videos man!
It's always refreshing to go back home. I was raised in Okeechobee, now living in Virginia. I was in the Navy and understand about living here & there and having friends across the country. Hey, how about an update on that haunted hotel there before you leave town? I remember when you & your Pops were both vlogging on foot & talked about it. Is it still standing? Have they opened it up for any reason? Stay safe & enjoy your time home!
I spent the Summer of '62 in St. Cloud. That really dates me. It was literally just a cow town back then. I do remember there were rumors going around that Walt Disney was buying up property which now is Disney World.
+the daily woo +Adam the Woo I can't wait to see you with your mom and dad! So glad you are home, but even more thankful that you were in my stomping grounds...Memphis and West Tennessee!
I had a chance to be an extra in the replacements with Keanu Reeves. It was when I was working downtown in Baltimore md. I would have just been sitting in the crowd cheering/booing, but I decided to skip it since I doubt I could have been recognized. Glad you got to go down memory lane in one of the towns you grew up in. Keep up the great content Adam!
Do you ever think about seeing if anyone lives in the places you've lived? Am I the only one who's ever been curious to see what others have done differently with places they've lived?
I've always wondered what that tattoo stood for. I was guessing some sort of band name. I know you also got the Alamo when you were on tour with one of your bands once. I'm curious if you have any other places tattooed? Eufaula seems like it was important so I thought that may be one?
Enjoyed watching Another of your Vlogs Here in Yorkshire! and great facts too. plus i have seen the Waterboy lots of times, but never new that you was a Extra in the movie for a few seconds. you learn something Everyday from your Vlogs!
You met "The Fonz"!!! That is awesome!!
lol, when he first zoomed in on his sister's name, I thought it said fat and he was making a joke.
ditto
Lmao same here man, that was so funny!
I was looking to see if someone else wrote this. I stopped the video immediately to check lol
I thought it said "fat"
Adam the woo does his taxes for you
he knows it isnt fun
But the IRS will chew off his ass
if he doesnt do the right sums...
Awwww s******* son....
couldnt resist it.
thats an accurate theme song for tax season
it's weird how you can go "home" and everything just feels relaxing and calming. It's like your soul is bound to the area.
This is why I'm finding it so hard to move away from California - for all it's faults (many of which are forcing my move), it's still "home" and always will be.
used to be a beautiful town. sad to see all those businesses closed and empty.
you talking about being sad about beloved stores closing at 3:15 is a common occurrence anymore, small town shops can't compete with big box stores like Walmart and home depot for pricing. I live a half block from my small town's family owned store, but I can drive to the big city 20 miles away and still get twice the groceries for the same money I'd spend here at home. I try to shop at home as much as I can, but with two teenage daughters to feed, I have to stretch my food budget. :(
Just not the mom and pop's closing, ALL store formats are in shut down mode, you can thank our new method of shopping, POINT, CLICK AND SHIP.
love my Amazon!
Alex M
I can't stand Amazon. It may be more convenient, but it lacks the charm of going into a real store and buying items at a real cashiers stand. If I have the choice of buying an album on Amazon or searching for it at a record store, I'd much rather go for the record store.
It's so pretty there, like the polar opposite to my surroundings right now- sunshine and cranes crossing the road as opposed to grey skies and pigeons/seagulls! glad you're having a nice chilled decompression time with the rents!
Hey, Adam. Pretty cool about being in "The Waterboy." I was too. I was In the "pep rally at the swamp" sequence. It was unreal when Henry Winkler gave us extras direction. My 1970s self was like "The Fonz" is giving me motivation! It's also nice telling everyone I'm on Netflix right now.
What was the location of the scene you were in ?
We should never forget our past
Thanks for your dedication! ATW+Coffee= A great morning.
You are inspiring! Thank you for sharing your life and adventures :)
I don't call it dieting either. I simply say that I'm eating healthy that way it less about weight and more about feeling good 😃
That bird was not happy Adam. Was giving you the business. Probably had nest nearby
thats why the second time I got out of there before he started dropping on me
Those birds have been on the lookout for Adam since the "Goose Attack" in Texas! haha
TheDailyWoo angry birds!!!!!
The real question is Would Hitchcock have been proud?
He crossed the road to show the chickens "That's how it's done"
I'm 5'9, was pushing 250 lbs gave up sugar (cut back to next to nothing) I'm 185 lbs now....sugar is a sweet silent killer. There is enough sweetness in cream to satisfy for ice or hot coffee.....
JOE MACK: GOD I wish I could do that! everytime I try to quit sugar I fail miserably. :(
I make my own ice green tea & honey 6 oz of honey to 128 oz of h2o (10 bags of grn tea) only one 8 oz glass a day if that....I eat nature valley cereal w/ wild blueberries (when I crave something sweet) I make my own ice coffee (rarely have hot anymore) w/ 1/2 & 1/2 (just a splash). lots of ice h2o & one 8 oz of 1% or 2% milk a day. Good to see you back in Florida Adam. Time for a LeFou's Brew at WDW.
huggyjd I love that LeFou Is gay! Makes my life complete-
Sherri Hobson . Not sure about that but the drink at Disney is good
Have never watched any Disney Movies other then Nemo.
Sherri Hobson that made your life complete? Really?
interesting breakdown of how you make the vlogs! good to hear these things every once in a while. keep up the great work sir!

streaming1950 That was a trip! Him (Adam) and his sister looked sooo young!
Appropriate considering at 7:48 in the video a riding law mower tractor is visible in front of the pawn shop.

Thanks Adam
St. Cloud.. does look like a nice place to live. Nice video as always. Thanks Adam!
' There's No Place Like Home " Welcome Home Adam!
It's always nice to go back to your roots and happy times after what life has thrown at you. Good times
thank you for taking us back to where your heart lives Mr. Woo! you are so right, our hometown is never far from our heart and mind, it is always that place of comfort...I enjoy when you go to St. Cloud for many reasons, but number one is because I know you are getting closer to your incredible mom and dad who always make your vlogs so special!

Crazy how close we actually live near each other Adam. I've been watching your videos for awhile now. And I live in Kissimmee off of 192 going towards poinciana. Keep up the good work
You rock Adam love watching everyday and it is cool that you get a little decompression time! Enjoy😍
I’m a preacher, church of Christ and I live in a parsonage (church owned house) in AK.
As previously offered, if you want to film in AK, let me know. I will accommodate you.
Kick back and do some chillaxing Adam, All my love to you and your Family. xx
Excellent Vlog woo man
Adam I'm from the UK and nearly a year ago we were staying off the 192 in Kissimmee off Westside BLVD we're big Disney fans and I'm a big space fan so have spent a decades dreaming about going to Walt Disney World in Florida.
You met the Fonz? That's so cool!
yea hes a very nice guy
TheDailyWoo Yes, he is a very nice guy! My wife and I met him once a long time ago at Downtown Disney. He shook our hands and was very cool about saying hello.
Thanks for sharing Adam...!
Real life and you. I really like these vlogs. So much great scenery and so many interesting places. The bass fishing in that part of Fl is legendary. Why aren't you fishin' ?
Good to see the old stomping grounds and how they have changed. Enjoy some rest.
Adam glad ur Home , rest and enjoy...
Aww thanks for all of your hard work for us I love your daily vlogs...
Walmart must be opening near your old town. Thats why everything is closing up
Sn'eagle Sighting! Thankx for uploading & Sharing WOO!
That’s awesome you were in the water boy Adam! My grandmas neighbor is in it too! The final scene where the crowd runs the field! He’s The only black guy in the shot! Love your videos man!
LOVE revisiting some Classic Woo......
i love the sounds from the lake front,im thinking frogs and birds?
You need to come to Minnesota! I'm sure a lot of us would love to meet you! Safe travels.
Id like to get inside there actually
Thanks for the stroll thru town again
I spent the Summer of '62 in St. Cloud. That really dates me. It was literally just a cow town back then. I do remember there were rumors going around that Walt Disney was buying up property which now is Disney World.
+the daily woo +Adam the Woo
I can't wait to see you with your mom and dad! So glad you are home, but even more thankful that you were in my stomping grounds...Memphis and West Tennessee!
I enjoyed being in that area
Great to see you back in FL.
Good morning Adam 🍵 cheers
Wash the strawberries
I've always wondered what that tattoo stood for. I was guessing some sort of band name. I know you also got the Alamo when you were on tour with one of your bands once. I'm curious if you have any other places tattooed? Eufaula seems like it was important so I thought that may be one?
Enjoyed watching Another of your Vlogs Here in Yorkshire! and great facts too. plus i have seen the Waterboy lots of times, but never new that you was a Extra in the movie for a few seconds. you learn something Everyday from your Vlogs!
I watch your daily vlog everyday. Love It.
