Ohhhhh, how envious I am!!! I take care of sick and injured wild birds at the local wildlife center, and I love them so much; but I can get no closer to them than the avian nursery! How I would LOVE to be you and be a parent to those MAGNIFICENT, WONDERFUL DOVES!!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
lulzBrownie you're mourning doves to make my day keep on making more of your mourning doves make videos I meant I am not in the mood to type because I've been sick for a few days but your mourning dove just made my day he's adorable
Awww lil sweethearts. Is it difficult to tame wild doves? I rescued 3 juvenile doves a while ago and they're in my aviary with my budgies and pigeon, but they're getting less tame despite all that I do. Also, they've been performing courtship displays and I've seen them doing "it" but they haven't layed their eggs anywhere. I gave them a nest and sticks but they still haven't estabolished anything. What can I do to get them to raise chicks?
:) Loving pigeons is something that you have from your ancestors... I didn't know that my great-grandfather and my grandfather had pigeons, one day I found one and I raised it... my mom told me the story from the past after that...
AdoptAPuppyToday Nope, he actually just randomly flew into our front yard one day, maybe his previous owners did? Not sure, he wasn't like this when I first had him
I had a dove that got attacked by a cat yesterday that looked exactly like the one who kept cuuing. He was the biggest and had the best babies. I miss him so much and this video makes me happy seeing a dove just like him acting the same.
Hey, y do you people keep such beautiful innocent birds if you can't protect them from the evil cats. Drive the cats away, leave them in some slaughter house or meat or fish market, they'll get plenty to eat. Take precautions to keep the cats away from these innocent birds. These birds don't deserve to end this way, it's cruel.
You have Birmingham rollers too? I found one about two months ago and he's still wild. I heard pigeons are difficult to tame but I wouldn't give up on it. Doves are more docile in nature than pigeons are. My doves weren't tame at first, they'd walk or fly away. I'd usually massage their head at night (that's when my first dove was cage-free in my room). Sorry I don't have much help to give, but I guess you can try offering your pigeons seeds or treats by hand.
Perry 2012-2017 R.I.P my Dear dove. Thank you for the cuddling and using my head as a nest. LOL I won't forget you. Our memories togther are forever engraved in my heart. I hope your with your family up there. Just know that I have and always will love you Perry. ❤😢
Wow that's amazing how you just walked over them and they didn't fly away I have 3 Birmingham roller pigeons could you please help me by telling me what I should do to build trust with my pigeons I have searched and looked everywhere on the internet and have found nothing. If you can help me that would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have a white dove used to be my friend she didn’t have any for years Christmas songs now but I’m just Dove Stilling For my son. His name is Blanca. He makes them beautiful self and he laughs. But I have a question what kind of dog food do you recommend to the Sandra by he don’t like the pics through it?

Alhamdulillah, ur doves r so lovely, my dove is also very beautiful. They love to eat a few roasted peanuts in small pieces and soaked chick peas that have been soaked overnight.
I am following your channel. Have you ever let them go outside (like flying and come back)? If you did that then how could you make them feel this much friendly? I tried adopting bunch of pigeons but after months of taking care they don't let me touch their body unless I force garbing them. I never put them in cage though.
I would Never recommend letting ring-neck doves fly freely outside, they do not have the homing instincts pigeons do and will most likely get lost, starve, or get killed by a predator or something else (this could happen to any pet let loose really). These doves were born and raised in my room along with their parents. Get your pigeons used to a feeding schedule by bringing the food out at the same times every day, they'll know and be nearby when feeding them, eventually they'll get used to you getting closer and closer and will even jump into your lap for food
@@lulzBrownie WoW, I didn't know any of them. Thank you a lot for responding back and advicing. I see how nice you make them get along with you and I'm going to do my best to make my birds feel more comfortable with me. I stuck with your channel from now on.
Yes, they can get used to it. If you just let them out and let them fly a bit. They come back. I had one cliff dove for a month and he is out now with the other pigeons in the city where he came from. He got sick on the 4th day with a cold, but got well. He was inside for one night then. He has thicker plumage now. You could let them fly free a lot and walk on grass. They'd come back top the house if you want to. But I'd remove the net in the bottom. Mine liked to sleep on hemp material. I made a thick bed out of it. You could make beds on the floor in the corner.
@@Sigridovskij you do realize these are ringneck doves, right? they're not pigeons or cliff/rock doves, completely different birds and these lack the great homing instincts that pigeons have www.americandoveassociation.com/html/release.html
Oh, I see. But it seems to me these should live outside where they are free and it seems strange to keep those normally wild birds in captivity. They need to feel the ground and fly at least.
@@Sigridovskij these are Not normally wild birds, they've been domesticated for many years and the closest wild species to these ringneck doves are probably the eurasian-collared doves, which already live in the wild as an invasive species

Great, I woke all the doves up at 1 am because I had to watch cute birb videos.
Don't do that. Let them rest
@@roadwayskater6113 he probably meant they heard the dove in the video so that's why they woke up.

lulzBrownie This guy gave it to my dad at a flea market.

tell her to be a lil gentler
