With the .308 Winchester already ballistically considered an 800 yard platform, WHY would anyone opt for an 18" barrel?, (unless you're hunting woodland).
This guy got me staved and stole my pay check. I need help I am in debt now because of him and my body still hurts all these years latter. Not to mention I now have a tumor growing in my kidney as a direct result of getting starved by Scott Mcrae. If he had paid my fairly I could have recovered faster. But no he left me sick and stranded. I want my money Scott.
Waste of money and time. Wouldn't have the short barrel because you lose too much velocity. Another Candyass gun for Candyass Hunter's that can't carry 10 to 15 lbs without crying !!
Well, I only want it because my wife carries my gun for me when we hunt, and my current Ruger is too heavy for her. She complains. She complains so much guys it sucks. Im trying to enjoy my rugged mountain hunt and she is over there starting to get ideas about me carrying my own gun. It's getting bad.
Who wants to carry a 26" plus 8" can? Noone. This is called evolution. High BC bullets are carrying lethal speed well past 1000 yards with 20" barrels.
Beautiful rifle love of great features

Nice rifle, but the carbine barrel cost 150-200 feet per second. Just get a 30 30.
