It would have been nice to hear Jools, as a fellow keyboardist, ask Bryan a bit about his keyboard work. Avalon the album is to this day one of the all time great works of music and Ferry's keyboards are fundamental to its brilliance.
Very nice havent seen for ten years. I just wonder by any chance have you got his performance of "Lets Stick Together " from the Jools Holland show ( millenium hootenanny ) ??
I always wondered if he was from a working class family and father being a farm labourer who looked after pit ponies how he had a toff accent from the start and at least one son supported fox hunting. He was asked a question about being in a former band 'Gas Board' where he instantly rubs his eye which is a trait of lying.
Bryan himself has noted in an interview that he used to have a much stronger Geordie accent when he was younger, though it did somewhat fade over time (he has said that it (the accent) comes back with a vengeance whenever he’s speaking to another Geordie or when he speaks to Roxy’s drummer Paul Thompson).
@PlaceSoFarAway You must be right, yeah. Frankly speaking, I havent’ ever thought of this) If I were asked the same question - what’s the music that influenced Roxy - I’d be lost in ideas!
Great smile. Bryan is still touring in 2019.

I remember reading he often misses out the third in his chords using only 2 fingers to play
Awk Bryan smiling at himself doing Ladytron 😆😊
It’s so sweet…
I love the bit where he watches himself in 1972!! ❤️❤️

Some sort of naughtiness seems to be going on.
@natateaful Oh yeah - they were a big influence on early Roxy...

@dalyjohnm - Yes I have and I'll upload it for you asap............Paul
When speaking of influences, he mentioned The Velvet Underground? That's interesting.
Uh it’s actually The Netherlands, saying Holland is just like calling Spain Mallorca.
