Those tracks were there WAY before this area was heavily populated. I get so tired of people moving by active rail lines then complain about the noise. Also, why is no one asking the question of why there is so many unhoused people having to camp by the train tracks?
If you are on or about he the track it is a federal trespassing law that is broken. UP is goverend by the FRA, the situation is causing an unsafe situation, for train operaters, the public. Call it in.
Sorry, I'm out of compassion for the residents being kept up at night by train noise. Unintended consequences of voting for the enablers of 'urban camping' are a thing.
And that market is being closed due to the tourists who keep getting hit by the train while taking photos or not understanding it is still a LIVE TRAIN TRACK that has trains multiple times a day passing. Personally I'm tired of having to Darwin-Safe everything when really, if we just let nature take its course and did not apply human law or prosecution or justice to it, we would have a safer, cleaner, healthier society without the defects that hold us back.
@@celebrityrog I was in Maeklong Railway Market last February. The police cleared the people off the tracks. There is a red line to stay behind. The big problem is there is always someone who stands up in the middle of the tracks to take a photo of the oncoming train. The police started to get a bit agitated. The train is really slow but the police can’t protect idiots. There are no safety rails so it is kind of a thrill to be so close to such a powerful machine.
Just because it's UP property doesn't mean they're the ones in charge of putting people on the streets to make that happen. They're just suffering because of it. That being said, what can they even do about it if no one else is going to?
Just wait until UP Lawyers send a bill to the city of Sacramento for causing freight train traffic to be delayed. It’s going to be an expensive bill. It’s happened before in Oakland.
Why would the homeless even want to set-up tents where there are trains, crossing gates and a freeway all in the same spot? It's about the noisiest location in any city.
Actually, in my country people have built their houses close to railroads so I do not know who has the right of way. It’s either Philippine national railway or the people. I don’t even know if the train slow down for thr people.
So im guessing trains stop to make sure the people in those camps dont play on the tracks? And thats a shame they have to do this. I mean the horn should be enought warning
Thanks, you said it for me!! I love how they referred to the conductor as the "the guy in the yellow vest"🤣🤣🤣. Also the lady who talked about what noise the train was making, it's called "bunching"!!😂😂😂🤦🏾🤦🏾. So that's what i was when i worked for UPRR, now I'm the guy in the orange vest (BNSF employee now)🤣🤣🤣

HOMELESS
The rail road IS doing something. They make sure its safe to proceed. The camps are not their problem to solve.
Those pesky Republics
@@ajax7ox729 You're joking, right?
@@dominicf8039It's a fact
In the old days, the up police would have delt with this a long time ago.
No more UP police. The RR management, defended them
It's not the train or railroad it's the people that are too close to the tracks

Why did you justify throwing them on to the streets?

Cry about it
California has been promising "high speed rail" and they can't even stop this happening.
Its California they can’t do anything right
Nor can other states stop homelessness
Glad to hear horns return through midtown! Glad I was able to see a manifest pass by X street.

They're talking about the camps and to clean them. Of course UP won't. They only care about money
Congrats country
Full speed ahead! The trains won’t even feel the bump

Debris on the tracks and having to flag the crossings is the reason for trains stopping ✋️
Good for the homeless! Do whatever it takes since income/money is the only way it might help make a better outcome
You should sue someone
Gavin Screws'em invited homeless from around the nation to come to California (and vote for him). So they are HIS PROBLEM!!
