- Today we try to get it finished, but can we do it in this last video. Still a few things to sort out but we've come across a problem with the stereo. We also add some little additions to the car to make it, just that little bit unique.

Those stick on aerials are worse than the wire coat hangers we used vo use 🤣 next to useless.

Paul you don't seem to realize, these people don't have time to clean the car because they have to update their status on social media...... innit 😅. My radio didn't work when I got the car but as I am the king of bodge, I rigged up a shorter non standard indoor one that is not pretty but it works. Incidentally are the original power socket/cigar lighter bigger, cause I have a tyre inflator that I have to hold it in to work, though maybe it's the inflator that is smaller.
Not sure. I’ve not tried using the existing hole.

Sounds like that eBay aerial is duff, could be cable but pretty unlikely. Don't forget you only get 30 days to return a faulty item 👍

Just a thought on the aerial...why not use the one in question on one of the other cars? to see if it is that and to know what to buy?

I use my car bin 😂 my car could be cleaned better but I’m living in a first floor flat currently so I can’t get a hoover out there 🙈 it gets car wash washes but I’ve got horrendous lacquer peel so it’s gone far beyond waxing to improve the appearance 🤦🏼♀️ I find it’s younger people who treat their cars badly. And for girls you kind of have to do your own research on how to maintain a car unless they are daddy’s girls who do it all for them.

I just fitted an aftermarket android unit to my wife’s Suzuki and it could not find and radio stations. It turns out these modern ariels have a power wire as they are amplified. I had to cut and connect a power wire and it works fine now. Maybe you have a blown fuse or and incorrectly pinned plug like mine?
It’s a pre amp, doesn’t need power it’s just a normal wire and braiding on these.
I have the same usb charger add on for my girlfriends fiat 500 lounge, just havent got around to adding it yet, swapping cigarette lighter for it.
Do you have a video showing how to remove the cupholder trim ?

We had the same with the car I bought for my son. Someone split coffee all over the back seat and carpet. Took ages to clean. Also found why the cd player was not working ( vomit inside it) !!!!!!!

@@howardwilliams1218 Yes and test it for a short at same time 👍. My guess is the genuine eBay aerial, most likely the booster in base is dud or damaged. Probably why it ended up on eBay.

Paul, you are still waffling on I see, 10minutes or more about a aerial signal and about the amount of rubbish you have to clean up, just hoover it up and move on, nobody buying a car from Copart expects it to be polished, hoovered and repaired before it’s delivered to you, or do you!!
