You can use a light kit from a FMS Atlas for the headlights and red taillights. They come wired together. I used that kit and everything else using this video as a guide. Thanks!
Nice work! As an electronic's engineer myself, I can really appreciate the quality of these mods, especially wiring job you did 👍. Regarding the red rear lights, there's probably not enough current available at the REC/ESC plug to drive all 4 LEDs when wired in parallel with the headlamps. It wouldn't be too difficult to achieve the desired result though, with a simple transistor buffer circuit. Using the original +ve feed for the headlamps as a low current feed to the buffer, allowing the transistor to do the additional "heavy lifting" of all 4 LEDs. If I get a Mogrich - and I intend to, I'll research this further and upload a "how to". Edit: Scratch that. There's no uk stock anywhere at the moment - boo 😟
Your tutorials are such an inspiration, I really appreciate them! I just tuned my mogrich following your instructions and I'm really pleased with the result! Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! Do you have any idea of how to connect a sound module, since there is no servo plug to get the necessary signal from the motor? I really like to have realistic sounds on my models, maybe anybody has a workaround??
Hi buddy! Really glad you like them. Re the sound module, you could use a servo Y lead/harness. You plug it into a channel on your rx and it duplicates the signal if that channel down two leads.
Great useful video. I'm glad I waited to watch this before taking my 'MOGRICH' apart. I agree with you that just the roof lights would be good enough for me. A real shame about the red rears. I'll be honest I don't think my electrical skills will be any better than yours. But I'll give it a go. The WPL RES-V3 ESC is the same. I can only get it to light 2x LEDs at once. Will let you know if I get anywhere. 👍
You always have interesting mod ideas similar to the way I think. A cool mod for the injora rock buggy is to turn the battery tray upside down giving lower CG.keep up the cool vids cheers
Awesome video I would like to light up the yellow hazard lights. Thinking about about adding rear weights as well. Please post more Mogrich upgrades. Thanks!
I agree turn signals and flashing lights have no place on crawlers. I'm in the feilds just about every day and never once have I used my flashers or my turn signals.
Maybe. Try getting access to the esc and seeing if there are any spare ports. I reckon Roc Hobby planned to fit other lights to the Mogrich but then opted not to to increase profits. This lighting set is cheap so you can experiment without much loss if its doesn't work on the K10. Checkout FMS website for other lighting set.

Hi Garry. Cheers. Much appreciated. You know your stuff. Checkout my latest mogrich video as I found another set of lights that solve this. 👍
@@RCModelsandMods aha! Thanks, I'll check it out. Typical of me to be watching an older vid 🙄😁

Lovely video with nice camera work thanks for inspiring us mere mortals, so what's next??⭐️💫⭐️
Hi Tom. Thanks very much. That would be telling. But I do have a few parts on the way. So stay tuned. 😎👍

Thanks Shawn. Really appreciate it. Could you add that tip as a comment to one of the rock buggy vids to share with others. 😎👍

Hello from southeast alaska. I like my fms Chevy k-10
Great little rig! Hello from Sotuheast England 🤜🤛
@@RCModelsandMods like the new lights on unimog
Cheers. Just a shame I couldn't get the rear reds to work as well. 😎👍
I wonder if I can hook up extra lights on my fms Chevy k-10? Would like to try and see

It would be nice if they would stop all the flashing and turn signals and just give headlights and taillights and be done with the rest on crawlers
😎👍
good video ^^
Thanks 😎👍
LIKE 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks man 👍👍👍
Very nice and easy mod, thanks!
How did you realize the front emblem?
The merc badge comes with it. You have a choice of plain grill or chrome badge

Thanks and welcome to Club RCM&M 🤜🤛
Are you going to make any of the 3-D prints for this model available?
Hi Jeff. All the designs are now on my Thingyverse page. 👍
I found them thanks for the great work
Please post some pics of the build!
Is it also the same on the FMS Mog possibel?
Hi. FMS is same brand as Rochobby. They now do a 1/24 mog as well. So depends what scale you are asking about but I expect so. 👍
how do you turn on the lights
From the tx. If you watch my review video it shows you how to cycle through the light options. I'll be doing another video on the Mog soon!!! 👍
@@RCModelsandMods i did see but it wasn't really clear
Oops. Sorry.
