maximum size is 1024x768, how to handle with image distortion: create a empty document 1024x768, them paste your image (that should have the same proportion of your desktop screen) and make it fit the canvas, if you done this right, now you should see your image squeezed, after apply the image, enter on bios and change bios logo display to fullscreen.
THANK YOU! I have been looking for the size of the image they let you use here for ages. I tried a 1920x1080 at first and it just failed the update. 640x480 did it. Now if only I could get it to show in the correct aspect ratio 🤔
By the way, you can goto cmd and type: wmic baseboard get, and you'll see a printout with a bunch of info, including your motherboard, there are some freak cases where it gives weird info, but usually you'll see your board chipset and revision whatnot
Nice, I have a ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (none wifi) so this was rather straight forward. I know have a lovely boot logo of Umbrella Corp. ^_^ now if only I could change the boot animation pin wheel to a spinning umbrella ^_^

Like, can we appreciate the fact that in order to change the bloody logo image you have to go through all this shit and YOU MIGHT also fuck your bios while doing it?
Or, that you have to flash your bios EVERYTIME you wanna change a bloody bmp image for startup?

all other mobo brands have the same thing you cant rlly do that without changing the bios since the img is saved in the bios
Not all other brands have it, I've not seen the feature on modern MSI or Gigabyte boards for example.
There are ways to do it through Windows but it requires Legacy boot options and will only affect the Windows Boot Logo, hence the reason I suggested this method.

I downloaded AI suite but for some reason on my TUF h670 it doesnt support EZ update.

Restore point is more so you can easily remove the asus ez update bloat.
I have B550M TUF, after a certain update, it doesn't work anymore for some reason, updating the bios through EZ update just does nothing, doesn't update bios. I can only update through BIOS now.
is anyone getting the boot logo creation error, the custom logo worked once and now it will not work at all
Ez update didn’t pop up for me when I had ai suite up, mobo is asus tuf b450-plus gaming
There may be multiple ai suites available, check if it also mentions EZ Update on the list.

I bought a prebuilt with custom boot logo. If I update the bios normally does the boot logo just change to Asus or should I do it custom again?
In my experience, a normal BIOS update will restore the Asus default logo.

I could imagine many people not understanding what they are doing bricking their motherboards, which is probably painful for the manufacturer having to deal with so many warranties.
@@meh0420 I wanted my PC to be fully customizable but I don't wanna do this with my motherboard (b450 aorus pro) just to have custom logo, Ill stick to my aorus default logo, I don't wanna mess with mobo.

The software no longer has ez update as an option as of 2/10/24
Should be able to grab the software from an older motherboard sucha as the one in this video if you need.

Yea
AI Suite is TRASH. Waste more time jacking around with a so called "Professional" motherboard than I care. ASUS has permanently lost my business. Next time I build a PROFESSIONAL Computer, it sure as hell will not contain ASUS
Almost every mobo manufacturer has its bloatware package now however yeah ASUS's is the worst.
