    Awesome video, extremely helpful! One question about the new Lightroom AI denoise feature: do you think it is better to do a first passage in Lightroom to just denoise all the sequence and then start the workflow, to do it as a final step or something else?

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  24 дня назад +1

      I don't recommend using AI-Denoise with timelapses. See this faq for more information: forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-workflow-if-using-new-lightroom-ai-noise-reduction

    Thanks, Gunther! This a great program and a great tutorial. You explained everything so clearly.
    Have you considered adding a feature in the Render stage where you can create or import a custom text watermark or a studio's logo to the rendered timelapse, the way we can when exporting an image from Lightroom? Currently, I am doing that in FCP X, but being able to do it in LRTimelapse would make production more efficient.

      Actually with LRT Pro there is an option to add a Watermark overlay to the exported video. However it's more intended to be for "Copyright" reasons when sending clips to customers before they have payed. It's test only, no logo or customizable fonts. I feel, if at all, something like that would be better done on the final edit in the video editing program.

    New to timelapse photography and having put a short first one through the free trial I have just purchased a private license and your ebook. One quick question that arose during my free trial process , is there a facility to slow down the finished timelapse to give more of a slo mo effect annd if so how is that achieved ?

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  2 дня назад +1

      In the render dialog you have the option for slow down or speed up. But mind that the software cannot "invent" intermediate images, that means, the slower you make it, the less smooth it would be. It's always better to work with shorter intervals from the start (while shooting).

    Hi! I edit my RAW images in DXO Photolab and export them as TIFF 16 bit, Rec. 2020 (Adobe free workflow) How does LRTimelapse 7 works with TIFF files?
    Thanks!

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  Месяц назад

      LRTimelapse doesn't support tifff, because this is not a good workflow. The ode of LRTimelapse is to do it's work before and together with the raw converter. This delivers the outstanding results. Preedited tiff files cannot be edited in the way lrtimelapse works.

    how can I recover the delete file from LRtimelapse,thank you

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  2 дня назад

      LRTimelapse shows a warning on every delete operation, that deletion will be permanent and asks you do confirm. Once files are deleted, they usually cannot be recovered.

    Am I wrong or the workflow has a few significant changes compared to that of LRT 6?
    No DNGs, different folder structure requirements, different keyframe exporting to LRC…

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  Месяц назад +1

      No, it's very backward compatible. No major changes to the workflow itself, just simplifications. JPGs can be used directly (without converting them to DNG). The Restricted Folders are optional, they have been there in LRT6 already. Nothing changed with the keyframes.

    Could you do an updated Milky Way Timelapse edit with the new masking tools selected for LRT? If you have one already let me know, thanks!!!

    • @LRTimelapseOfficial
      @LRTimelapseOfficial  Месяц назад

      Maybe in the future. If you want to use a Mask, just use a circular one, track it with the milky way. Please come to the forum for further questions: forum.lrtimelapse.com

      @@LRTimelapseOfficial thanks I looked but no instruction on the masks to bring out the MW better

    • @gwegnerde
      @gwegnerde Месяц назад

      @@KenToney The most important when shooting the milky way is to use a fast lens. Best 1.4 or 1.8. Then you don't need any trick to tweak the milky way. It's beautiful as it is.
      Otherwise you can just do a little contrast enhancement on the radial mask, use very little (!) dehaze - but that should do it. 90% of all milky way shots are over processed and therefore a pain to look at. I will see if I can make a tutorial about that some day.

    Should reference area for MW be sky or foreground?
