I think it's very unfair on the contestants on MasterChef not to show these progammes. After all it's not their fault! Gregg Wallace appears on the shows briefly compared to the 24/7 media coverage over the past days. If his so called 'victims' are traumatised by his appearance on one programme surely they must be much more affected by the repeated media circus!

Or is it accountability? There were several interventions and warnings to Gregg Wallace over quite a long period from Banijay, the actual production company, and the BBC.
The programme presenters did not clearly state what the allegations against GW are. If these allegations are better publicised, opinions might differ. Without knowing the exact allegations, how can they be characterised as jokes or banter?

It’s cancel culture when it’s covered on a daily basis and every minor new angle is treated like breaking news. It’s literally just hounded the guy until he decides to quit the show or the BBC pull it. In days gone buy this would have been covered once and we moved on.
