I love that big sigh he did, after you put him back in his home.
Check out my bearded dragons on my channel! Dope morphs
"He's mad because he thinks he's about to get a bath And he is"
Me.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bindi: "Damn you, giant food-bringing beast! Release me!"
Lmao
I get mad when my handler washes my femoral pores too. I gotchu bindi
Bubba Jenkins 😂
Do you mean I'd get angry
Kaye Draper no, I meant the exact way I wrote it. Thank you for requesting clarification, though.
@Genesis Israel Sugui do you know the name of the ointment that she uses

Maybe not happy and healthy but grumpy and healthy is better than sick. I know how you feel Bindi I don't like going to the dentist either but I'd rather put up with the discomfort than the alternative pain.
lol i had the same thoughts: "happy and healthy? maybe not so much on the happy! but it's good to see Jessy making sure he's healthy."

Awwwh poor sweet bindi! People please make sure to provide your reptiles with the proper diets, calcium & UVB to prevent MBD and other issues in your animals! Thank you for caring for Him! 💕
Haha Bindi's sigh at the end, poor guy
You should definitely do a video on basic BD care with emphasis on calcium, UVB and atadenovirus. Bearded dragons are definitely one of the most common pet reptiles and unfortunately many owners aren't aware of these 3 basics
WOW that is an angry dragon! I'm glad he's getting the care he needs and I'm sure he feels a lot better when his legs aren't covered in infected pores, even if he dislikes the treatment.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm thinking about adopting a bearded dragon soon (a rescue, of course), and found this video very informative. 😊

I've been researching keeping a bearded dragon happy and found a great resource at Beardie tactic plan (look it up on google)
|
There are a few components to how to look after bearded dragons . One place I found that successfully combines these is the Beardie tactic plan (google it if you're interested) it's the best guide i've heard of. Check out the unbelievable information .
|
I can across a useful compilation of videos that may help you at Beardie Tactic Plan
|
I discovered your video on Beardie tactic plan - there plenty more a useful videos there that should help you
|
I'm not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about are bearded dragons hard to care for try Beardie Tactic Plan ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.
"Happy and healthy" well, I mean...you got the second part right
Bindi looks like he would certainly argue about the "happy" part at the moment, but it's really nice that you keep him healthy! Even though I might never have a reptile in my care, I find this kind of video super interesting and informative.
I really love it when you talk about the animals you've taken in with "disabilities" and how you help them cope with it. Kemosabe, Huckleberry, Bindi.... It's so helpful and gratifying. I hope that it will lead to more people keeping their disabled pets and taking good care of them.
Oh jesus he's really bright black lol, baths aren't that scary little dude! You don't have to be so angry!
Im a new subscriber as soon as I saw how caring you are for your little Bindi. Not many people would put all that effort into taking care of him.
Aw, the grumpy little huff when he's back in his basking spot
Awh, Bindi is so cute!!
My dog gets mad at me too when he knows he’s about to take a bath. He knows I still love him though ☺️
Oh and thank you for today’s upload Jessi ❤️
This woman has an unnaturally perfect facial structure
I used this video to put me on the right path to taking care of my rescue's femoral pores. Thank you!
So cute when he’s mad😊
I'm always delighted when something that gives me the warm fuzzies (instead of muted outrage) pops up in my feed. Thanks animal wonders!
As you put him back on his favorite spot he seemed to take a deep breath as if saying "well, finally that's over.."
angery boi alert! wow, i've never seen bindi's neck that dark! hahaha
So cute! You and your animals give me so much joy
your keeping bindi healthy i don't know how happy he is at the end of this video
I didn’t know about this till now I’m going to try and do it when I get all the stuff cus I did check them dot and didn’t think much about them till now thank you so much
I like how gentle you treat the beardie. Thor my bearded dragon lived for 14 year's , simply due to being loved and fed correctly bathed regularly and kept clean and his house/cage kept clean EVERYDAY.
Informative tutorial thank you.
I love that you take such good care of your animals! Im definitely subscribing and am coming back for more :)
I also have a bearded dragon with MBD. Unfortunately right now he’s impacted (in his intestines not the pores) and isn’t doing very well :( he’s been on liquid calcium for about a week and I’m going back to the vet soon to see if he needs to be put on a laxative. But unfortunately if that doesn’t work there’s nothing else I can do. His name is Kit and I love him a lot so wish him luck please!
Have you tried putting olive oil on his nose? Just a drop or two for him to lick off. It is a natural laxative, I have read of it working for impaction in Leopard Geckos. T the B on RUclips did this when her baby Leo got blocked up with cricket exoskeletons from overeating.
Lydia Eddins yeah I have tried that actually and it did work a little bit before. But now he’s not even trying to poop even in the bath. And I can tell hi impaction isn’t completely cleared cause there’s a solid lump when I feel his belly. Every so often he’ll poop but all that seems to come out are urates in really small amounts
I am sorry to hear that. Hopefully the vet will help. Wishing Kit the best of luck.
Same prob with mine. I gave him some prune juice and warm baths and worked the mass through his abdomen by massaging it with my fingers and it finally worked. But i had to literally squeeze it out of him
Just a gentle message on his right side tummy helps my beardie + a warm bath
I want to give that poor little dude a hug so bad.
Thank you Jessi. I've been wanting to get a beardie for a really long time and I've probably seen all the videos there are about them on RUclips, but this is the first time I've seen anything about their femoral pores. Really good care information that I will definitely keep in mind for when I get my bearded friend in the future.
I would recommend joining some Facebook groups about Bearded Dragon care. There are people who are pretty much experts in those groups. They've been super helpful to me when I have questions.
Very cute...so is Bindi
Gday Jessi :)
Love seeing reptiles so well cared for!
Luckily none of my beardies get this issue much and I believe it’s because I’m able to keep them in large natural outdoor enclosures but I’ve rescued many beardies kept on man made substrates like tile that seem to develop femoral blockages
She explains why in the video: MBD. I think the most common issue with owner neglecting their beardies is MBD from improver UVB lighting. I'm sure keeping them outside often solves that issue pretty well tho
AminalCrackers there’s not a direct link between MBD and blocked femoral pores though, it’s just that some beardies with MDB move less and thus arnt rubbing those pores on various surfaces
I strongly believe artificial substrates and a lack of rough surfaces are main causes to blocked femoral pores
Yeah actually that makes a lot of sense too. It seems logical that course surfaces would provide a better medium for clearing those pores.
well i have ceramic tile and its kind of rough do you mean other types of tile are bad
Ty for taking care of them natural sunlight is good especially in az since it get hot asf
Another amazing video from AWM. This is my favorite channel!
Thanks for this. If I ever get a beardie, I will now know to look out for this.
Thank you.
A friend just showed me this video and I'm so glad!! Thankfully my beardie's pores seem to be doing just fine, but now I know what to do if that ever stops being the case :D
Just one thing I wanted to add (and if this is explained in a different video, I apologize!) but I wanted to let others know that the Neosporin used must always be the one *without* painkillers, as painkillers can be toxic to reptiles.
Thank you for mentioning this, that was the first thing that popped into my head when she mentioned it.
Oh holy crap how have I never heard about this? D:
I have a 13yo beardie with limited mobility, I didn't know I needed to check his pores... Now I do, thank you
Isn't Benzyl Perioxide used to help with acne too? I guess that makes sense because they're similar issues
it a horrible thing when your helping an animal and they dont realize and instead believe your up to no good, but sometimes, not often they do realize your there to help, now thats a good feeling
I recently found your channel, and I think you do a great job. I am sure many younger people or inexperienced viewers may find you, and I thought a quick mention of " he has MBD because....." might have been a good idea. Looking forward to watching more.
You're amazing, Jessie!
Thanks
I’m about to give my beardie a bath, and I want to make sure to check his pores. Thanks for this video!
omg i been looking for yall for 1 year i love yall i been seeing yall since i was in first year i love yall o ya i love seeing yall on EPIC
I subscribed great video I'm going to check my bearded dragon stuff now
This is something I never even knew! Wow!
I always learn so much in these videos :-)
Jessi, you take great care of all your creatures.
Perfect timing! I just got a Bearded Dragon a week ago :D
I wish South Florida had experienced reptile experts like you with bearded dragons!
I like every ur vids I I really hope u make a vid about all ur animals
Interesting! I have never seen anyone use anything more than water before.
And that is a fantastic sink!
That was awesome! Grumpy!
Great video!
I love this series of video. It is great getting to see these interesting treatments for these animals. First time I've seen the husbandry of such animals.
If the cameras don't roll do you talk out loud? Does it help to talk to the animals? To yourself?
Bindi was not happy lol. This video was very helpful thank you
He,s so cool!
My beardies loooooved baths so much
lmao, they skipped Bindi taking a dump in the bath. @2:00 you can see him immediately start to do the "poo-poo dance." Literally as soon as mine touches water, she poops. its pretty convenient for keeping the enclosure clean.
The most convenient cleaning session 😉
Love ur bearded dragons
I'll try this on my beardie thank you
oh wow what a grumpy boy!! my girl loves bath time lol, she looks like a little alligator how she run/swims about
My beardy LOVES baths!
Such a mad bean ❤️
i didn't even know femoral pores existed. Better check our beardies to make sure he's not infected. Probably not because he doesn't have the bone disease but it's good to know. Thanks for the video. Just subbed
I know it's anthropomorphism, but he looks so grumpy when he's in the water, and so happy when you rub in the neosporin and he knows it's nearly over!
My dragon loves baths!
Bindi is so cute 😍
Thk u u rock
You should be able to hold him vertically for cleaning them. Might cause a little less stress. You can sit his little bum down down on a surface tail facing inward to help keep him still
THIS, is exactly what I came to say. How can someone so experienced with reptiles not know that you NEVER hold a beardie on their back🥲🥲 poor thing, you can see him struggling to breath. Their diaphragm isn't designed to hold up when they are in their backs.
So sad🥲
I don't know why, but that intro really made me laugh xD
Bindi has beautiful eyes! 😯 🦎
Wow this was neat to see! How does his neck turn black?
Nice haircut!
Hey, I know this might be a long-shot, but I have a disabled lovebird. He lost his leg due to being improperly banded by a breeder. You wouldn't happen to have a disabled bird, do you? I'm looking for examples of cage set-ups for a bird like him.
oh my goodness that dragon is pisssssed! The only time I have ever seen my beardie black beard is when we got the vacuum a lil to close to his enclosure. Apparently HATES the vacuum. But he loves bathtime :) so he goes in the sink now when we vacuum and has a great time.
My bearded dragon LOVES baths
Haha, his face in the end 😂
Bindi is so adorable!
I do have a question also, I was wondering if you guys bathe all your animals or do you guys give them a tub and let them wash themselves?
My beardie loves baths
That's a beautiful mad lad
The kids in my daycare class are much the same anytime you try to clean their face or blow their nose.
You do not have to turn him on his back upsetting him cause him not to breathe you can simply hold him in your hand and lift leg a little and and brush the pores that way I do this with my beardie and he seems to enjoy it. Caring for your beauty does not have to be a stressful ordeal my beard never had a black beard because he has to have a bath in fact the bathing in the brushing has been a quite enjoyable bonding experience for both of us.
He is so cute!
Do you think you can do a video on Creen Cheek Conure care? I'm thinking about getting one but before I get any pet I would like to learn as much as possible about that animal. Thanks!
Don't. They screech for no reason at all and its not like a parakeet or a lovebird, they scream LOUD like cockatoos!
My beardy loves bath's
Iv had this problem with my bearded dragon (lez the lizard) but thanks to this video it is no longers a problem thx.Btw Lez hates the treatment as well lol
Hello. Can you do an update on him like a before and after? I'm curious how he looks now. I'm doing this same thing for my daughters bearded dragon and I think it looks slightly better but it's only been a week. Hes 7 and hes been in our family for a week now. Thanks for the video!
Such a sweet boy. It’s so sad to think that if he had just had proper care from the beginning he would not have to be going through this. This is a good lesson that you have to do your research before you purchase an animal.
Cool video! I'm new to owning a bearded dragon, I've had him for around 20 days, I would have never known about those things! Is there anything else I should know?
How’s your dragon doing after seven months?
That’s a cute beardie
Do you have a video about metabolic disease and how to identify it?
Thanks for this video. My beardy is having this issue now. Its weird I have had him for about 7 years now and this is the first time I have ever had this issue. Oh one thing about the grumpy guys beard turning black. I wish I had that ability. If I could there would never be a need for Just for Men...
He's so pretty.
Awww he was not happy at all. Poor guy he's a cutie
Go Herping adopted a beardie with the exact same issues
4:22 How I keep Bindi happy.
Bindy: LET ME GO YOU GIANT THING I WANT IN MY TANK AND TO BE LEFT ALONE!
So i recently found two bearded dragons just in a box ontop of a dumpster in a box felt soo bad i just had to take them home
My tray for the bath is like a centimeter deep cuz I have round sinks I think he it going to go in the tub
Great video, very helpful! Just make sure anything you use with your Beardie does NOT have avocado in it, since they are very allergic, (as are many animals)
