I think it depends at your position: my brother preferes the magista because he is is defensive midfielder and needs to do exact passes. But me, I´m an offensive midfielder, so I need Boots with that your can make Skills. For Skills think the Mercurial Superfly are better, so I prefere them.
I have a pair of magistas, I have the exact pair that billy has just in a different colour, I have had them since june and they are the best pair of boots I've had. Previously I've had adidas predators (£220) and a second pair that cost £150. I've also had Nike CTR360s, didnt last very long (£80). I've had a pair adidas f50s reduced to £110. If you keep going back I've had more predators and nike boots, even had a pair of umbros, so I do know my way round a pair of boots. The magistas are incredible, so comfortable and you get a real feel from the ball, only drawback for me is that as im a defender my feet get stamped on alot and its not the thickest material, so they do hurt after a game. If your a striker or a midfielder highgly recommend these boots. (only reason I included prices is because I couldn't be bothered to look up the exact names of the boots I got, so by giving the price you can make your own observation on the quality of the boots I got and I still have all boots ive owned, still in good condition apart from a few. Next pair of boots im going for is definitely the new CR7s.)
If I have to question you, what of the two did you prefer, Predators or Magistas? I really want to test Magista, but I don´t know if the durability is good? I have seen many, many bad reviews about quality problems, like soles separating, ripping, etc. Really it´s a very hard decision. Easily, the Magistas are worth it? Cheeersss
German Silva durability I would have to say predators, my good pair of predators havent got a sing rip in them, the sole has not seperated, only reason I needed new boots was becuase they were getting to tight for my feet, saying that though the magistas arent holding up to badly, I train in them, play football matches in them and even use them for going to the park to play football. Another problem though is the studs, I have the studs which cant be removed, so dont walk home in them otherwise you'll wear them down, thats the mistake I made. If you do play for a team and you play matches on Sundays or whenever, if you playing in rain and your boots are filthy, first thing you'll have to do when you get home is clean them, as they're fabric boots dirt gets into them alot easier and its much hard to get out also you dont want mold then they're ruined. A quick note is that I have predators which around 2-3 years old, so I dont know about the quality of the newer predators. Also its just a matter of choice, what boots do you want? Realistically though, if you treat your boots right, then they'll last for ages. If you have anymore questions, just ask. :)

Really I just want to buy both haha, but I don´t know if that is worth in buying two pairs. My other question would be, I play in a firm ground but it´s sometimes some kind of hard, because of the dry weather here. The field is daily or each two-three days watered, so most of the time isn´t that hard. I would say as better question, do you think they can pass a season? Training (4 times a week), match each week, and taking good care of them, like you say, cleaning them, don´t using in floor that isn´t a field, etc. The only fear I have about Magista is buying them and after a month something bad happens.... German Silva thanks for the reply, the magistas should do fine on firm ground, if the studs sink into the ground nicely then your ok, try to avoid those dry days if possible, obviously there will be the occasion where you'll need play on a dry pitch which isnt to bad in the short run, but over time the plastic moulded studs will wear down, unless you get the magistas with metal studs then you should be Ok. Moving on to your question about if they can last an entire season. Firstly it seems your doing quite well in football training 4 times a week and a game so if you are doing well then I congratulate you. You train 4 times a week, I dont know how long each session is, im going to guess between 1-2 hours, and you play on days where you dont train or have a match. My answer to that then is possibly no, they may last the entire season but realistically with rate of football then no. I can see why you want the magistas and predators, they're both incredibly nice boots but if you want the best magistas and predators its going to cost alot of money, if you have the money do it, thats why im saving up for the nww CR7s. if you are a defender and you are looking for tough boots you are completely on the wrong track. these weren't designed to be tough, go with something like the tiempo's instead.
jeff simpson Hey, the magista shoes is "Playmaker" shoes. CR7 is sprint and touch shoes, so that means that CR7 are better than magista in sprinting and touching but magista is playmaker that means they are way more better in shooting and dribling. ;)
