OpenAI has released a new AI model called o1 that is capable of solving complex problems faster than a human can, owing to its reasoning capabilities that are better than other AI models previously developed by the Microsoft-backed firm.
It has also released a smaller, cheaper version of the o1 called o1-mini.
OpenAI said in its blog post published on Thursday, September 12. That openai trained these models to spend more time thinking through problems before they respond, much like a person would. Through training, they learn to refine their thinking process, try different strategies, and recognize their mistakes.

In the first 15 seconds of the video, I can already see that you're too much of a fanboy for OpenAI. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's fine, but don't push it onto other viewers. Secondly, the O1-preview is terrible, worse than GPT-4. However, since we don't have access to the fully featured O1, we can only guess what's going on.
