Moze has a bit of everything, run and gun, support, tank, and a bit of sniping since landing crits will reward you with more sustain. Love this character
That’s kinda what I love about all of the characters. They all have so many different facets to them. I don’t have to play a certain character to be a certain “role”.

I'm thinking that the Cryo minigun and either the Grenade Launcher or Rocket Pod with an explosive build will be pretty powerful. Use the Minigun as suppressing fire, and when you get an enemy frozen, switch to the grenade launcher to shatter them into a million pieces!

Maybe I just havent been paying enough attention, but do you know Iron Bear's damage is scaled? Im worried that Iron Bear wont be as powerful towards the end game. Especially when they (most likely) raise the level cap
From all the gameplay I’ve seen, the damage scales based on player level. Most likely base damage * 1.15^(player level -1). Edit: changed 1.4 to 1.15 as it’s closer to the value they use for health.

I think you will be suprised how good Moze and Iron bear will be, from what I here she will be a unstoppable force...im willing to bet with the right skills and attention to detail....Moze and Iron Bear will be a great choice!
I’m level 30 and I wanted to watch a video of all the augmentations with Moze’s rail gun. What I got from this video went beyond expectations. Currently my favorites are the Corrosive explosion and Electric splinter beam duo and it is very destructive and keeps the fuel going a lot longer than the Incendiary beam. Shield of Retribution synergy is a great tree and I like to use my Mech like a Winston Primal Rage ability (I saw you mentioned Roadhog with the bearclaw grab so I’m sure you know what I’m getting at) keep it up man! Great video!
The severe lack of damage Iron bear puts out at only lvl 22 as shown in the vid worries me. I thought Iron bear would be a good alternative to deal damage up to lvl 50 before you find crazy guns and builds, but apparently that won't be the case, and any decent gun will out damage it. Not only that but for instance the railgun seems terrible, people hardly seem to be able to hit things with it. I saw some gameplay with the nuclear warhead, it really didn't impress. Iron bear also seems to move soooo slowly, and the length of the enter and exit animation throws me off, i want my skills to feel instant. I hope gearbox does something because Moze is my favorite character, but as it stands now there's no way i'm going to use Iron bear, ever.
I noticed Iron bear is pretty weak since the very first gameplay. The railgun and fist in particular burn a lot of fuel without doing much damage to compensate. It is one of the main reasons I decided to drop her and play Fl4k instead. I'll probably still do a second run through, but I'm hoping Iron Bear gets some buffs.

Infact i think her skilltrees are better than Fl4k's are, but the fact that her main ability, Iron Bear, is basically useless (except for a few skills, that require you to enter and exit the bear, which is an annoying gameplay mechanic anyways) means i'll main Fl4k first. I really wanted to play Moze first though,... As for the "maybe there will be com's that make Iron bear good", sure, but i'm not going to hope to maybe find a com that may not even exist which may make Iron bear good, and will probably still be underpowered compared to other coms that just make the character good

My question is this: Action skills that are direct damage (as opposed to control or weapon-based skills) have no scaling other than character level. Any other skill will improve with a new and better weapon, but these action skills do not. Soooo how do they hold up late game? If your ultimate skill damage is dwarfed by the shotty you just found, then that's a problem... what's your take so far? Footage from the lvl30 range seems underwhelming for action skills other than control or Fl4k's invis crit (weapon scaling...)
defo gunna play moze when this comes out but one thing i actually hate about moze is the wording on salamander "no ammo but drains fuel" but ALL her weapons drain fuel when they fire? even the melee attack that i feel the bear should have anyways, if you use dual miniguns the damage is usually subpar to your weapons and its ruins your fuel usage :
But some of her weapons actually have ammo. The wording makes sense because you can fire the flamethrower as long as you have fuel, but with the grenade launcher and rocket launcher, you can only fire so many times before you have to reload, even if you have fuel left.

What I want to know is that one of her skill converts some rounds into incendiary shots, does this also work on weapons that already have an element? For example, I've got a shock SMG, is every tenth or so round going to be incendiary rather than shock, or both?
hey just curious do you know if moze's skill matched set will decrease heat gain when in iron bear? it just says heat per shot is decreased by an amount never specfies so long as your outside of iron bear. if that does work then one could potentially infinitely shoot moze's minguns

The problem is, most of the weapons we're seeing for comparison are legendaries, like that insane chaingun and the butcher. We don't have much to go off yet and I'm sure there'll be better builds than this.

Moze is a power house and Iron bear is just an underwhelming safe seat for rough moments. She like a cracked roland and I love it, she's the one I'll play 1rst
I think Moze is superficially interesting, but there's a big problem: the use of the Iron Bear removes you from the core gameplay. i.e. you can no longer use your favourite weapons. She may be good for novelty value only, in the long term. Also, her bear fists seem very underpowered so far, given how much you have to spend to spec in to them. I've seen a lot of people power-fisting against minor mobs, and it took a lot of work.
There's a skill that puts Iron Bear in auto mode and acts like Axton's turret when you jump out, it stays in place and shoots at enemies until the duration runs out then it charges at an enemy and nukes them.
Yeah there was small part in her trailer too where she was sleeping and the Iron Bear automatically was killing enemies in place right next to her, idk if many people caught that.
Unpopular opinion: Moze conceptually was an attempt to balance and redesign the OP GOD character type that was Salvador. As a result she is underwhelming to most players who previously played Sal.

doesnt the gun damage in shield of retribution scale with health? as in the skill makes her have 20% health but she doesnt recieve the bonus gun damage buff until 100% of the 20% health goes below 50% or whatever the threshhold is. i dont think she just always has 50% bonus gun damage for taking the "low health more shield perk"
best option is like in Planetside 2 is to equip 2 of the same gun and maybe different augments for them cuz if u use minigun with nade launcher u have to aim directly at targets to hit them but if u are far away then ur nades won't even get there

I got a Legendary mod at like lvl 21 that has +50% Iron Bear Duration and -50% Iron Bear fuel use.....need to find the best combo to go with that, because now my HP ususally disappear long before the duration is up.
I chose dual wield flamethrower build and mecha iron bear fuel drain is so low it can also move faster combined with spamming unlimited flamethrower dot is od damage and I can get off it last moment so it auto enemy and does od damage
my biggest issue with moze is that her melee punch with iron bear gets no love in ANY tree, unless its damage scales off of gun damage (+ gun dmg perks) if it doesnt, its basically useless.
I would love to use the nukes but that would require me to fill out a lot of the Demolition women soooo I’ll stick to minigun since my build has no skills into demolition woman lol
I was absolutely amazed when I first played BL3 and had a look at the skill trees, they clearly cranked these to 11. Iron Bear is probably the closest we can get to gunzerker in BL3 lol. Too bad Wonderlands skill trees are so lame that they feel like something between BL1 and BL2 P.S. 30 used to be max level for BL3? That's so weird, even Wonderlands has a higher cap at launch
When I did my first play through I used zane and I thought he was the best vh to use, then I did one with amara and thought she was the best vh but now that I'm doing one with moze I gotta say she is the best hands down if you build right. You never have to reload or run out of ammo the only thing I noticed is you don't get good loot drops using moze and I rarely used iron bear, I prob used him 4 times during the whole game
KOSMIC KAT i saw gameplay of it and the mech has trouble fitting through small places etc but it can still fall through small gaps in the ground apparently, which is one issue that was pointed regarding Moze
MisterStun thank you ive been wondering for a while. no vault hunter has ever had a skill that makes them legit bigger (badass krieg doesnt have any issues i think)
if you've player other BL games you know that pets don't do much vs bosses because their health is too low, so they draw aggro for a bit.........then die
Im a little disappointed well never see someone with as overpowered of a skill as krieg. Im gonna miss running around making people explode with one swing of the axe at level 80

RyanCentral well how would I know? I haven’t played the game yet. The reason I thought this because it seems like railgun, grenade launcher and mini gun are the base weapons and the augmentations (bear fist, salamander, missiles) replaces said base weapon. So basically you can have two of the same augmentation weapons or base weapons? Like a dual bearfist build?
If you watch the gameplay where he is talking about it, look at his health. It doesn't lower your max health as say a turtle shield would, it literally takes it away, you can see the health is still there, but it's cut in half I was un sure if these 2 would work together as well but now I am pretty confident that they do
No. It works on how much percentage health you have. Doesn't matter your max health. Having 50% of health will mean you do half desperate measures damage
@@jordanwilson9694 Yes, thin red line removes 60% of your hp, thus you'll do 60% of desperate measures damage. It is a very good skill, 30% gun damage for three points.
I really like the game, the variety of the weapons and the really cool talenttree, but my lord... this insane amount of specialeffects just hurt my eyes, even when i just watch the youtubevideos. That with 4 players... iam not sure if i can track the game, when everything glows and explodes... :/

I love the bl series and 3 looks great but I don't see any huge innovations. Like the melee for the mach is a recycled skill from wilhelm. the slide from apex. I hope when it releases in 2 weeks there are things in it I have not seen elsewhere. I'm not shit talking I really do love bl and I hope 3 does the series justice!
Is it just me or are the characters personalities just boring as hell or plain unlikeable?? Maybe I'm speaking too soon, but the character dialogue is just really boring and generic. At least they don't seem as douchie as BL2 characters.

Seems to scale based on level, which is a shame. He would be way better if his damage scaled based on your average weapon item score.

Is strong you just have to focus on doing a build for him if you want him super Strong

Iron Bear seems underwhelming when you can just do way more damage with your guns, hope it gets a huge buff or it will just be a survival gimmick.

I was absolutely amazed when I first played BL3 and had a look at the skill trees, they clearly cranked these to 11. Iron Bear is probably the closest we can get to gunzerker in BL3 lol. Too bad Wonderlands skill trees are so lame that they feel like something between BL1 and BL2
P.S. 30 used to be max level for BL3? That's so weird, even Wonderlands has a higher cap at launch

No it scales with player lvl
When I did my first play through I used zane and I thought he was the best vh to use, then I did one with amara and thought she was the best vh but now that I'm doing one with moze I gotta say she is the best hands down if you build right. You never have to reload or run out of ammo the only thing I noticed is you don't get good loot drops using moze and I rarely used iron bear, I prob used him 4 times during the whole game

can you still walk anywhere while in the mech? like through a doorway?
KOSMIC KAT i saw gameplay of it and the mech has trouble fitting through small places etc but it can still fall through small gaps in the ground apparently, which is one issue that was pointed regarding Moze
MisterStun thank you ive been wondering for a while. no vault hunter has ever had a skill that makes them legit bigger (badass krieg doesnt have any issues i think)
Im gonna pick moze forsure, to many people use FL4K and ive never liked using sirens, im either gonna use zane or moze.
Darth Maul same here. I already used siren. And I liked Gaige more as far as summons based on what I’ve seen. Those 2 seem the most interesting
Same man. I usually love sirens but amara is a bit disappointing for me, too much like kreig and brick. But moze is like a salvador/gaige hybrid

if you've player other BL games you know that pets don't do much vs bosses because their health is too low, so they draw aggro for a bit.........then die
Im a little disappointed well never see someone with as overpowered of a skill as krieg. Im gonna miss running around making people explode with one swing of the axe at level 80

Unpopular opinion: Moze conceptually was an attempt to balance and redesign the OP GOD character type that was Salvador. As a result she is underwhelming to most players who previously played Sal.

RyanCentral well how would I know? I haven’t played the game yet. The reason I thought this because it seems like railgun, grenade launcher and mini gun are the base weapons and the augmentations (bear fist, salamander, missiles) replaces said base weapon.
So basically you can have two of the same augmentation weapons or base weapons? Like a dual bearfist build?
@@Cryptiiix Yes . You can mix and match. There a total of six different weapons and each weapon has three different augements.

so desperate messures works on how little your max health is not how low your current health is?
If you watch the gameplay where he is talking about it, look at his health. It doesn't lower your max health as say a turtle shield would, it literally takes it away, you can see the health is still there, but it's cut in half

No. It works on how much percentage health you have. Doesn't matter your max health. Having 50% of health will mean you do half desperate measures damage

@@jordanwilson9694 Yes, thin red line removes 60% of your hp, thus you'll do 60% of desperate measures damage. It is a very good skill, 30% gun damage for three points.
I really like the game, the variety of the weapons and the really cool talenttree, but my lord... this insane amount of specialeffects just hurt my eyes, even when i just watch the youtubevideos. That with 4 players... iam not sure if i can track the game, when everything glows and explodes... :/

I love the bl series and 3 looks great but I don't see any huge innovations. Like the melee for the mach is a recycled skill from wilhelm. the slide from apex. I hope when it releases in 2 weeks there are things in it I have not seen elsewhere. I'm not shit talking I really do love bl and I hope 3 does the series justice!

Is it just me or are the characters personalities just boring as hell or plain unlikeable?? Maybe I'm speaking too soon, but the character dialogue is just really boring and generic. At least they don't seem as douchie as BL2 characters.
