Brilliant and so simple to make. Thank you so much for sharing. Going to give this one a go too. Have two kitties that don't get along very well, unless I pack out 'toys' and paper layer stuff so they can hide underneath it and slowly get it that playing does not mean snarling at each other. This will give them something different to do. I'm glad I subscribe to the instructables website. Your cat house creation was in my inbox and now I saw this. Again, thank you for the time to make this how-to-do vid. Big hug from a granny in South Africa. One is never too old to learn and make things.
Thank You, They are really enjoying it!! But I keep building new houses for them so they start to have many spots on choice in the house! Thanks for watching, I really appreciate you took the time to leave a comment. Thanks John!
Yeah.. sadly they didnt understand its psychology, they usually tend to like short furred mats, or dangly ropes that gets caught on their claws, or some cats like the thickness, so if you want to be realistic you need some old cloths with great quality for this to work
Yes, I have, but I did add some extra side supports pieces inside, because my cats are old, lazy and fat, and everything was fine for about 2 weeks until my ginger fur ball - Sherlock, lost his temper because I wouldn't give him any more stick treats (he would eat them all in one go if I let him, but he is only allowed 2 per day). He then went and took out his temper on the boxes and bit holes in them. It looked like a tornado had swept through, and the room was covered in perfect bite sized half circles of cardboard where he had spit them out. It collapsed about 3 weeks later while Sherlock was jumping up on it. His face had a totally confused look as he lay on the floor in crumpled cardboard. Karma's a bitch.
I am always wondering, with higher constructions like this, how can it hold together will full grown cats that are also playful? Mine is around 6 kg and can sometimes be very playful and "ruthless". I cannot imagine something like this holding together. Would it?
Some cats yes. Some will appreciate this just as it is. Also, there are various ways to cover a box! Fabric they don't like, thick layers of paint, etc.
Started making my own and this video lacks any of the dimensions needed and estimate glue dry times :/ Having to estimate on my own makes it take a lot longer.
My google search for diy cardboard cat house led me straight to YOU!! You're amazing. I watched several of your videos. Keep them coming!!

Can you provide the dimensions to it mate?
Nice😊👍
👍👍👍👍💖💖💖💖
Great video, but there are no dimensions. Can you please provide them?
People needing measurements 😂😂
Use your ingenuity ;)
moar cat ones
Lego
Nice thought but bad idea sorry to say! Cats love boxes and they love to use them as scratching post and chewing on.
Some cats yes. Some will appreciate this just as it is. Also, there are various ways to cover a box! Fabric they don't like, thick layers of paint, etc.
Is it solid?
No, cats are generally in a liquid state when they stop moving
do ur cats like to sleep in it too?
Always! It's their new favorite spot! Something they woke up because they play like crazy in their house in the middle of the night! 😂
Hi can you give the measurements?
Mmm,y las medidas???
question how do u know the measurements
You just use whatever you have
Where are the measurements for the base and the other boxes.
How come in everyone of these cat house builds they never have measurements
Because it doesn't matter how big it is. Just use whatever boxes you have lying around
Dimensions please
This has nothing to do with crossout

Started making my own and this video lacks any of the dimensions needed and estimate glue dry times :/
Having to estimate on my own makes it take a lot longer.
The hot glue is very bad for cats and should not be used
