turtles all the way down was amazing, i related to the character so much and i was very happy to read it when it first came out! John green is amazing for sure
Just a note to anyone who wants to pick up Turtles All The Way Down, I found it EXTREMELY triggering. I think it is because it is written so well and because I found it so relatable but there were also many times where I had to put the book down because I was feeling to anxious to carry on. O trudged through and finished it and it was a 5/5 but it was extremely hard to read.
There are many factors in reducing panic attacks quickly . One resource I found which succeeds in merging these is the Trevs Panic Fixer (check it out on google) definately the most useful blueprint that I've heard of. look at all the interesting information .
I love watching rec videos for anxiety something I struggled with for many years in childhood and teenage years. I need to read more. Thank you for these😊
I can’t love this video anymore... physically impossible! Thank you so so much for posting this. Many of these are going on my TBR! You’re amazing April ❤️
Have you checked out Don Carveth, professor of psychoanalysis on RUclips on anxiety. He’s got a ton of talks on subjects I’ve been obsessively watching and rewatching to get all the juice out of to master his fascinating ideas on the range of psychoanalytic subjects and theories. He’s really helped me to help others in my work in the helping professions!
Do you have any recs for selective mutism/mute books? I suffer with selective mutism and it’s so under recognised that it’s hard to find many books with characters suffering with that. I have four anxiety disorders, agoraphobia being the most severe, so I appreciate this. I read Highly Illogical Behaviour and absolutely loved it.
Have you tried going through this goodreads list? www.goodreads.com/list/show/6168.Selective_Mutism I've read a few in there that I really enjoyed, like Until Friday Night & If You Find Me!
i stopped reading am i normal yet because of how she treated that guy with agoraphobia. does she apologize to him later or something like that?? i want to finish the book but i got so angry that i can‘t bring myself to keep reading it :/
