Shane Christisen made a name for himself in the 2019 rock racing season. Shane debuted a bran new rock bouncer called Gold Rush and it has in impressive 1600 Horsepower Pro Charged Big Block in it. This buggy will knock you down when he stands on it and it was awesome to watch it blast up the hills.
This was Shanes Rookie season and he did great, we enjoyed filming this machine and can't wait to see it in 2020.
Driver: "I can't get up there"
1600HP: "YES YOU CAN!"

Could you imagine having to compete against this monster. Like, roll up to the starting line and this beast rolls up next to you with the sound of God coming out the tail pipe and you're thinking to yourself "well.... I'm f***ed".
Damn, this beast roar, looks like it just push through with its hell of a power and momentum though, a low range would have done the same in some obstacles

At this point Tim Cameron and gold rush are the only two rock bouncers I care to even watch. The rest are truly amazing but they are just boring after those two rigs

Prob one of my fav bouncers at the moment.. from what I can see it's the highest hp capable bouncer that's competing, and he seems to have progressed a ton with the setup.
A lot of these bouncers hp claims in the last couple years have been getting a little far fetched. They do make a lot of power but it doesn't seem to create a huge advantage for most, in reality it makes a lot of them hard to manage and slows them down in most technical areas.
Any crank driven charger setup I know of is easily capable of this kinda crank hp. I just don't fully understand how a bouncer could really take advantage and actually benefit from the true capabilities of a engine setup like this cranked up. I think a setup like this would be better off gearing the charger down and tuning the power curve conservative with taller gears in the stumps. It'd still have way more power on tap than it could really use but it would be far more controllable and manageable with a softer hit and linear power that carried out putting more to the ground, all while being way more reliable with far less maintenance vs similar engine combos.
Anyone know the specs on the engine setup? Cubic inch, centrifugal charger size, fuel type, fuel system, ecu, etc?
I know this engine drinks alcohol... more tech is on the "Busted Knuckle" RUclips channel...
