1:20 I like roll-under for ability score checks. If your Charisma is 9, it'll feel like a real win when you roll 5 on that d20 when trying to butter up that NPC you need information from.It's also a delightful sting rolling a nat 20 when doing a Strength check with your score of 18. Uncertainty makes success much more sweet.

Agree here, I like the occasional roll-under ability check - rulings over rules for me :) But besides using the d20, sometimes it's fun to use that 3, 4, or 5d6 ;)
