I have a question please: I have just bought this dongle but it doesn't have internet connection. I've checked the APN settings, everything is fine, signal strength is perfect and still no internet connection. I live in Germany and I am using a Lycamobile SIM card with an active data plan on it. Any help is very much appreciated.

I believe Lycamobile don't support hotspot. I had the same problem when i lived in Germany but tried a Vodafone sim and it worked. Contact the customer care of Lycamobile.

Yes I am. I tested the same broadband sim on both phone and this usb modem. With my phone can reach up to 5 Mbps. With this modem, doesn't even reach 0.5 Mbps.

I ran into this same issue with the 3G external modem that I bought... the providers here in the US can't activate them.... AT&T nope... T-Mobile... Nope.... I tried for 6 months and gave up. I should be able to buy this and go to AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon and get a sim card activated in and out in... Or design a unit specific for the US that uses the cell bands that are here.... It should not be this difficult.
Boy ka yes i did understand that , but my DVR can it also create a WiFi for see recorded video, if head unit is connect to DVR it can not be connected to usb song and vice versa, so I will like to have a usb dongle which is decctect as a 3g internal modem
For our this unit, only can works with our JOYING 4G Wifi Dongle, and also only can works with our DVR. Any other brand wifi dongle and DVR cannot works with the unit. And our unit have two USB ports. About the song, you can insert the SD card to play. Hope it can help you

I believe Lycamobile don't support hotspot. I had the same problem when i lived in Germany but tried a Vodafone sim and it worked. Contact the customer care of Lycamobile.

Been trying to get 4G dongle to work. After 6 weeks, mailed dongle with at&t us sim card to China to see if they could make compatible.
