- In this vlog we are going to smoke fish village style as we are going to serve this to our upcoming guests the next morning.
Since we don't have ice in the village. We have to do this as it will preserve the fish for the next day. This is something that was very common back in the day but today we only do it if we don't have ice or if we don't eat it on the same day.

I very enjoyed watching the video. I live in the Black Forest, were we also smoke fish from freshwater. Before we smoke them, we put the fish for 24 houres into salty water. So they stay also fresh for a while.Stay happy in solidarity.
