See and compare each card of these 3 decks; the backs of each card, fronts of cards, faces, fonts and colors. There are differences between the 3 decks shown here in video. Radiant Wise Spirit tends to be more deeply saturated in color and more mustardy. The raidiant deck has bright blue skies. The fonts on the bottom are different and if you need to see the suits written on your cards only the Radiant has that. Radiant Spirit & Universal Waite will just have roman numerals and no suits written on the bottom. Some images are clearer on details on the Universal Waite in comparison.
Overall all 3 decks are great decks, different and colorful in their own ways. You may have definite preference after watching video!

I still have the Radiant Rider Waite (the one in the middle) and I used to have the Universal Waite (obviously gonna have to get this one again)! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I was originally interested in Radiant Wise because of the bold but darker colors, but this shows that that the images are more clumsily drawn, often missing detail (like the snake belt on The Magician). Now I think I'm getting the Universal Waite... but there are at least 4 different sizes so now there's THAT decision...
Lol I know your pain! Decisions decisions...it is interesting when after seeing close up which one people really prefer...I felt same as you..I like clarity over colors....
@@FreeSpiritChannel/videos Me too, although sometimes a deck that's more cartoony can also speak to me - for example the Morgan Greer has these 70s mustache-guys in it and it's almost too cheesy but sometimes very useful - like the 10 of Swords having different handles/hilts in the swords and not identical. Implies a different meaning, sources of attacks.
Everyone I know that likes Morgan Greer reallllllly likes that deck! I will check out that card now I’m curious!
Getting the wise spirit deck. I wish the expressions were clearer and outlines lesser bold because other two decks look like they speak to you eye to eye. But I'm a fan of warmer colors, oranges and mints, so getting this one.

Thank you so much for this flip-through. I really appreciate seeing the Radiant Wise Spirit deck with the others. I still prefer the Universal Waite, but some of the Radiant Waite cards appeal to me more. So hard to choose between these two decks. 😊💕💕
It was your comment on the other review that led me to do this one! Glad you saw this. Yes I agree every hard to choose! I love my Universal Waite for the clarity..but love the color in the other decks too...it was wild to see how different these decks really are side by side though
Universal Waite has the expressions on faces that are good and expressive while the other two have the good background colours !! Radient Wise seems best with no borders and radient colours !! I feel if in one deck all three qualities could be mixed 😀😀😀 also the back of Radient Wise Spirit is really really warm and makes you feel good as compared to black amd blue backgrounds !!

I've personally owned two of the three decks featured here, and I was seriously contemplating buying one of them back! Now that I've seen your video, however, I'm completely convinced I should go with the Radiant Wise Spirit Tarot on account of the fact that the Borderless Effect is amazing! Thank you again for this! oh fab - I did choose the Universal Waite because the important colours and features remain trueish and the faces are more pleasant/noble looking... thanks for this - my new sets are apparently arriving today... The Universal also has the original hand scribing - if I'd stumbled on your video a week ago, I would have saved myself hours in searching individual DECKS and the cards contained in each - the lighter/truer backgrounds for the Ace of Cups and Ace of Swords was also a real consideration for me as someone who wants to use these for traditionally based readings... again, the colours have symbolism/meanings of their own as intended by the author and artist...

Ok I hate the radiant wise lol, the colour scheme totally puts me off 😂 But it's really hard to choose b/w universal and Radiant! I think I'm leaning towards universal but some of the cards in radiant are just irresistible. Esp the illuminated hands, love them.

Thank you very much for this great review. I'm just planning to buy Universal Waite tarot or Radiant wise spirit. Yes, it's really hard decision which one to buy... Some cards are nicer to me in Radiant wise spirit and some in Universal Waite. I like Radiant wise spirit because it's borderliness, so cards are looking bigger and nicer...but it has got greenish sky on images (not blue) , which isn't natural. So decision is hard, still. 😞 I'm not professional reader, I'm reading for myself and my daughter only... I have got Arcanum tarot, Morgan Greer tarot, Gilded tarot, The good tarot, Golden universal tarot already. So I must decide between those two yet...

@@FreeSpiritChannel Golden Universal tarot is my first gold deck, but it didn't arrive yet from Ebay. Hope it will arrive through 15 days. I wanted some gold deck, so I choosed that Golden universal, I like those 'classique' decks which have got similar pictures. Hardly wait item to arrive, to see it alive in my hands, I believe it's beautiful. I'm planning to buy Golden Marseille also in some future, it is beautiful, gold and shine too - but minnor arcana hasn't got those 'classique' and universal images, it's totally different. And I'm drawn to images and colours the most in tarot. And I like when images present real meaning of each card. Sorry for my bad English...English isn't my domestic language, so it's hard for me to write everything correct. 😊
I understand everything! :) you will LOVE the golden universal! Its clear, sparkly and so beautiful! Its like playing with jewelry for me. Plus the images are very clear. I love all things universal. the best. I think the gold foil is so pretty! I have several decks with gold foil that I got after golden universal since I liked it so much. Enjoy when it arrives! :)

I have the Smith-Waite Centennial deck and really love it, but only recently noticed someone using a Radiant Wise Spirit deck and I couldn't stop thinking about it and wanting it! It seemed silly to need another, but I just had to get it.

It appears that the Radiant Wise is the original sketches just colored differently. Maybe yellowed to look older? or richer? It would make a good autumn deck like the Morgan-Greer. I like the borderless, but all in all I like my Radiant best. Thanks for sharing.

Someone bought a second Radiant deck and cut the borders off to get a borderless look.

I love my Universal deck so much! The light backgrounds, the bold font, the vibrant colors... Only thing I’m not super into is the borders, especially on the backs. It just makes them look kind of cheap idk, might snip them off if I dare one day o:
I wish I was more daring with trimming & gilding….I’ve messed up decks trying lol if you do hope turns out better than when I try!
#10 corner rounder (from craft or scrapbooking store) Saw it done on line with a tiny proper pare cutter. Type you lift up the blade and bring it down.

They are all same size! It’s an illusion they all look different sizes because of size of borders! Pretty amazing what a difference a border can make!

Help Wich of the three decks has the hardest cards? I’m tired of getting them damaged
To me personally after feeling each one just now if I had to pick better card stock it would be Radiant Wise Spirit....the universal Waite & radiant seems more bendable. Also those are both decks by US Games and the Radiant Wise Spirit is Lo Scarabeo so I may be picking up on that difference there. The Radiant Wise Spirit feels but more sturdier and less easily bendable than the others. Hope that helps! :)
I’m watching all these videos to figure out the best for me but I’m ending up wanting them all for different reasons 😭 these 3 and the centennial are my top 4 I’m debating between .. I have the plaid back and don’t like it as well as a knock off that’s pretty but too small and cheap. I know I’ll end up buying them all but I still want a main one to learn with for now!
It’s soooo hard deciding. I agree cause I eventually have all of them. See what really pulls at you the most right now! Let that be the first! That’s what I usually go by anyway! :) really can’t go wrong with any of them.
Free Spirit my moods keep changing and some individual cards look better than others 😭. Perfect would be a pretty back, original faces, clearer images like radiant/universal but the more sepia/faded tones like a combo of radiant wide and centennial .. with some pops of color 🧐.. and borderless! With original font! Lmao. Anyway I subscribed , nice to meet you🥰
