Aizawa isn't strict with his students for no reason, they're practicing what could be a life threatening career and he tries to make sure that the students can actually be able to be a hero

See, this is the episode we're starting to see how good of a teacher Aizawa really is: 1) He scholded Bakugo for losing his cool, but also encouraged him, 2) He also scolded Midoriya, but gave him a solid objective to work on too, 3) He kept his temper - and held Present Mic - in check around the media, even though he hates them, 4) He reacted immediately to villains appearing at USJ.
True, but aizawa used to be present mic’s friend, he doesn’t hate him

Aizawa doesn’t hate All Might just the media because he thinks they get in the way of heroes doing their jobs. Although he does understand the role that they play in hero society

At 7:35 Iida just asked himself "What would Midoriya do?" "or my Brother?"
Iida basically 100% RESPECTS Midoriya as much as his Pro Hero Brother!
1 line is all it took for me to 100% admire Iida's character.
They add the humor that Iida "misunderstood Midoriya "understanding" the true purpose of the practical exam", and it seems like he just "wings it"...but this was because IT IS MIDORIYA'S PERSONALITY to WANT TO HELP OTHERS ---> He doesn't have to think about it (which is why All Might respects him from the start... it's the very reason he said "Midoriya, you *can* become a hero")
Iida is ultimately right to respect Midoriya. It's just Midoriya's underestimation of his innate desire to rescue others (due to low self-esteem), however, makes it humourous, as if Iida's serious complements are exaggerated. But Iida doesn't joke about respect.

Fun fact about Ida's quirk: he needs to drink orange juice to make it run but if he drinks anything carbonated like soda it'll stall.
Really?! I didn't know that. That's really interesting. Is that in the manga or something? (I just started reading the manga. So I have zero idea.)

@@RoseCadenza It is mentioned a few times. Mostly when they have the character portrait pop up before and after commercial.
Tenya's runs on Orange juice while his older brother has to drink Grape juice.
Actually I think any juice powers it. Orange juice is just Tenya Iida's favorite drink.

@@christianc0 It's true. It was a main sequence thing shown in one of the side stories. Not in the main Manga. Iida drinks orange juice to fuel his engines. I didn't know about the soda stalling thing, but the orange juice is true.

I mean, he wasn't exactly being mean to any of the students. He just seemed like the kind of guy that you didn't want to mess with.

I was wondering "why does she hate bakugou so much?"
so I remembered that she's still in the first season
The best way to describe their high school is comparing it to the one in Disney's Sky High except with way more student endangerment, weirder teachers, a few more pervy students, and more difficult exams. Now for the beginning trends of major events with repercussions for the rest of the show. If you want to do a fun drinking game, drink anytime in the show when Deku cries and Bakugo threatens to beat up someone. Some of these students like the frog girl are similar to Bakugo where they don't have any filter and will tell it like it is hahah.
More importantly more sensible content and better story line than sky high

Clayton Johnson Suzy isn’t underage. The legal drinking age in the UK is slightly lower than that of the US. Season 1 is a little tough with the game but thankfully Midoriya cries less starting next season (only few times).

Aizawa is a hero version of Kakashi, while Kakashi can copy enemy abilities, Aizawa can nullify them entirely, everything else is the same, both are badass, veeeery smart and talented, strict af but really lazy when doesn't come to either fighting or training students. I think Suzy is going to love the next episodes :3

In the manga (chapter 3) you can see Kirishima calling out 32 points while hitting a robot. He looks how you think he should look at that time ;)

I can't wait til you react to season 2. Also Todoroki's origin story. He's currently more of a background character because he's quite, but once season 2 starts up, he becomes one of the main protagonists along Uraraka and Bakugou.
I'd argue more than Uraraka. Uraraka is a secondary character for all of s2 and majority of s3. She's more prevalent in s4 but past that point in the manga she's barely relevant.

One thing I love about MHA's world is that almost every hero has a title/classification/epithet, just like Pokemon. I like them as it is part of their character, personality, and overall theme. For example,
Ingenium is the "Turbo Hero"
Eraser Head is the "Erasing Hero"
Death Arms is the "Punching Hero"
Present Mic is the "Voice Hero"
Thirteen is the "Space Hero"
All Might is "The Symbol of Peace"
I actually love how excited Suzy gets watching this. Lol. I can't wait for the next few episodes. Keep up the good work!
This show gets more and more amazing as time goes on. Knowing that I feel comfortable saying the next few episodes do not in any way loose thier luster. Going back to rewatch the early episodes is a genuine pleasure. You're in for one hell of a ride.

Loving the reaction 😄 Just one thing. Aizowa Sensei doesn't hate All Might, he just hates media and the spotlight.
If you were going to UA, what quirk would you want? Keep in mind all quirks have some sort of draw back or limitation. An example is Aizawa's quirk wears off if he blinks. Others use some sort of resource or stamina.
Aizawa don't hate All Might, he just have a more "rational" way of thinking

Loving your reactions to Iida and Aizawa's personality! You didn't like them very much at first, like most of us, then over time, they grew on us and became affectionate icons of the show. You mentioned before that Naruto had a way of making you feel for every character; not an easy task! MHA has a similar trope :)

Wait. When was it destroyed? I just rewatched Suzy's reaction to the fight and he still had both gauntlets at the end. But yeah, I never noticed that he was only wearing one here.

I understand. It kind of bothers me a little how she says Kacchan. She's wanting to emphasize the second syllable in his name name like saying "ka-chow". When really you're not emphasizing any part of his name at all.
Iida has major character growth in Season 2, actually Season 2 is much better in every way

Dang, I didn't realize how fast USJ came around!! It kinda makes me understand why some people think the more laid-back episodes are 'filler' (which they are absolutely not, and that's not even the definition of filler.. anyways..) since in the beginning it goes straight from battle to battle, although *(not very spoiler-y but if you aren't caught up with season 4 continue reading at your own discretion, lol)* in Season 4 the action-packed arcs are SUPER dark compared to the series up to that point, and just way more intense, so to continue that pattern of one action packed episode and starting another battle at the end of the very next episode would feel like whiplash, and lets be honest, if the show went on like that the creators would get burnt out so easily and have a much harder time consistently keeping the audience hyped up. Sorry for the rant, lol
