Thanks Cathy, looking forward to the more detailed video on assist settings. Thanks for your help too, I'm stoked with how the Photon performs on my setup, it is really successful.
i also do, i just received a new x12 and my pas setting are feeling so damn wrong now, it for sure has to do with the base voltage, wich doesnt work with the wizard set up.
This setting was referred to as "Gears" in the SW102 settings menu, BUT initial reports were that the scaling of power and torque settings was quirky. This may have been fixed by now.
I’m using the X-1 - Stealth (first generation), with the X6 Controller upgrade. Apart from some speedometer inaccuracy, it is working just fine. I am wary of updating firmware, in general, on the basis of, if it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it. My question… Are the firmware updates going to be glitch free with my Stealth Gen 1 - X6 controller combination?
my Ride app is missing setting to set motor type, battery and wheel size, are there differing software versions? just got a new X6 controller for my Pro 1 Gen 2. Also want to have throttle always at 100% at PAS 1-5 how do I set that, seems I missing something else with this app? 3 Throttle power settings what differs Low, Mid, High, there is no explanation out there, including Throttle Torque including Pedal Assist Power & Torque settings has 3 settings what makes them differ, how do I set them, your instructions are lacking in app's user guide.
The lowest suggested battery voltage would be very useful. I was away from home with steep hills in the path, and the minimum voltage level shut off the motor. I probably set the minimum too high.
@@cycmotor You guys are great . You have already sent me UPS information to send back the motor on warranty . I just haven't gotten around to it yet . You guys are great and your motors and service are top notch ! Thanks !
Yes, the latest display firmware (released 2 July), supports this function. Contact our technical support team for more details on this www.cycmotor.com/contact-us
I thought the X1 Pro Gen 4 would be good but the grip and full Throttle mounts are terrible, if throttle is too tight the throttle will stay in the open position and become stiff to the point you have to move it manually back to the closed position and it still moves forward and back. If it's loose enough the throttle has a spring to it, so it goes straight back from the open position to the closed in an instant but is worse becuase it moves forward and back for the entire throttle and grip more than if it was tightent. Such a stupid design and a waste of money for the grips

Looking forward to the more in depth video😄
Excellent overview, very much interested to see a detailed look at PAS settings combined with levels/modes for real-world riding.

Hi,
can I also use your system without a display and only use the app when I want to change settings?
Greetings
Good stuff
Thanks for the video. Which is the link regarding the minimum voltage?

Is there a way to setup 5 or 9 assist levels instead of the default 3 on the Photon? This would be a nice feature.
Yes there it. You can set it up in your display's main menu on either the SW102 or DS103.

Does this app connect to the "CYC / Speed sensor + Bluetooth unit" ? Or the Display Controller ?
It is laudable that your motor is so open ended and user-configurable.

Where did wheel diameter go?

The minimum voltage will depend on your BMS as well as your cell type. It could be that your BMS was set high as well. Best to check both if possible.
Hi CYC it sounds like everyone in the videos are South Africans? Is there a South African branch of CYC?
It's more of a coincidence. But yes, we do have one reseller in SA at the moment: facebook.com/trailflow1/
Hey , My phones bluetooth sees my 'cyc motor' but my App doesn't see it . Does anyone have any suggestions how I can fix this please.

Can you do an update so i can switch between street and race without having to turn off the display on the Sw 102 ?

Haven't even had the chance to ride the kit, an I'm disappointed
