Personally i would have built in Ito an old style arcade cabinet and then added a picture down the back of him slam dunking a ball and lots of basket ball logos all over it and where the old sticks go add the keyboard and mouse and used the screen area for the monitor would have looked far more way cool

Lol the 3D modeling scene they made is being illuminated by a 360 HDR image of Saint-Petersburg. These software's usually have presets to test scenes of iconic places.

@@soggynoodles4989 more cores in a gaming setup means nothing. That is the reason people consider intel's chips as the best gaming chip. If you have enough cooling for the i9 10900K it can boost up to like 5.7GHz but if you are looking for overall performance then ryzen 9 3900x is the way to go.

Yeah there is like at least an inch of clearance on top. If it's easier to make shims than draining the loop, maintenance on that thing will be fun.

Men in my family have been cursed with Murphy’s law when doing cool personal projects like this. When Ken said, “I didn’t expect anything to go wrong, but I didn’t expect it to go so smoothly either.” That hit home for me. When something like that happens, I just wait for the “but” to come, just like this.
The sound of that motor spinning the “ball” is pretty loud. That’d drive me nuts. I guess that’s why people wear headphones while playing.

Woulda wished they showed how the cabling worked... do all of the display, keyboard, mouse, etc all have extensions that run into the bottom shelf thing? Can you turn off the spinning? Or does it just start spinning once you power on? I could imagine it'd be annoying to plug in new devices or even a USB drive.
