    To say Resolution doesn't matter or is a myth is false. It determines the resolution if you decide to print the artwork. I'd hate someone to create something nice and can't print because the resolution was set so low.

      Sorry but I think you misunderstood what he means by resolution. He’s saying dpi or dots per inch is not important, it’s simply an expression of a ratio. What he says is important is the actual pixel dimensions, which is the real size of the image. My analogy when explaining this is that dpi is like mph, when asking how far away a city is, you don’t say it’s 50mph away, you say it’s 100 miles away. I can change my speed all I want but that trip will always be 100 miles. His canvas is 4k and will stay 4k even if you change the dpi. Just trying to be helpful.

      @@colindavis1036 dots/inch does matter if you want to print it though, it’s pretty standard for high quality prints to be around 300 dpi

    Hi Lucas thank you for the awesome tutorial! Question: Do you usually follow this process for a clothed figure?

    • @LucasPeinador
      @LucasPeinador  7 дней назад +1

      yeah of course, the process doesn't depend on that - it is more about the whole illustration and the stye that I want. I use different process techniques for different outcomes

    Hello, at 29:12 you duplicate the line art then combine to make a little bit darker but then you select a color out of the color pallet to adjust the overall color of the lines. How did you change the colors at to a darker color after selecting near black out of your color picker? The colro is applied at 29:19 but i don't see how. Thanks!
