I love DeadCells, This dev is INCREDIBLE, the fact that they take feedback seriously and actually make the game better. This is day 1 buy for me on console for sure!!
There could be a lot said about the art lost to Sands of Time, but commercial wise, this is a good move. Purple prince will be missed, but now he cant be mistaken for anyone but The prince of persia!

Also this game exposed me to ASADI‘s music which I really really like. He is very underrated and I am thankful that he was chosen to compose the soundtrack of this game! Can‘t wait for the console release!

the first ubisoft game i will buy since 2012. i hope it has post release content, this is the closest thing we will have to dead cells 2 for a long while if not ever.
Great update, but the elemental system is now broken. In my run poison did no damage to barriers (it showed negative damage numbers). I was using the upgraded sticky acrobatics medallion. I think it could be related to the elemental perks in the skill tree. Blue fire often did no damage to enemies with no barrier
I'm just wondering if it will see a console release at any point? My pc ain't the greatest for gaming and I'd love to give this a shot at some point. Thanks for the updates :) God bless
I don't think a price increase is a good idea , considering you really want that game to sell and to have content and gameplay that REALLY justifies the game price being more expensive
Yeah. As a fan of the series, I have to be honest, I was real skeptical of the art direction upon release. Once the news of the art style overhaul came, immediately bought it today and do not regret it. Game is mighty fun!
I'm really disappointed by this art style change, it was super unique, and distinguished the game from not only other 2D Metroidvania games, but also the other Prince game that released this same year. Now it's a bit bland and doesn't pop as much, especially the prince... It saddens me that gamers™ will hate a game nowadays just because it's too "cartoony" for them. As if this series never had brighter and more cartoony entries.
The name of this game is Princess of Persia but there is no Persian language in the game!!! . Please add this section to the game. There are many Persian languages in the world who are eager to experience the game in their own language. If this is really too difficult and expensive for you, I am willing to do this for you. If not, then please add the Persian language to the game
The character animation of Prince is way off , it's still too floaty, lacks proper weight and dynamism. Need to punch up the animation as a whole . Spectacular changes regarding the visuals, I hope the character animation will also get the impactful upgrade in upcoming updates.
