This evening concert lineup is a great balance of talents too! But this time, all of Ethyria is leading the charge! My god, Ike and Luca also being here, Kaichou, Kotoka and Meloco... They are the newer bunch to give the talent split on this Hopconcert an equally powerful performance, and so far, they delivered!
I really really loved the ending part in Millie's Marshal Maximizer cover on her channel cause it was all out vocal power. But the way she changed it to the chant for the hopconcert version, I cant believe it worked so well with the song - I got chills!

I was caught off guard by both of Ver’s songs which are sooo different from each other and both sung Ver y well but seriously Gangnam style was my favorite of the whole concert
so....... I don't remember the number of times I watched this vid, but that just means how good they all did in this concert performance-wise. Ethyria girls now can lead concerts like this, which is why the talent split of the afternoon ( Lazulight lead wave ) and evening are quite equal in performance power. But I really commend everyone: Enna giving another side of her we didn't know with a soulful touch( Bruno Mars number ), MIllie with another unexpected aand chaotic presence, Reimu gaining more recognition with her singing accentuated with her Latin roots, Meloco and Kotoka cranking up their game for this big crowd performance ( I love their confidence in singing ); Ike, the man of ~ex, has never disappointed us with his vocal range, screamo and growls and song choice, Luca bringing back nostalgia in classic fashion, and Ver with his Disney/KPop Princess phase ( now this was really unexpected from him, but it was worth the listen as everyone sang both his song....cuz literally everyone knows his songs LOL ) So think about it. The distribution to give us great performances in two different times with the talent lineups is just genius! Millie and Pomu being the playful and crazy senpais on each group, Petra doing a Taylor Swift number while Reimu doing a Miley Cyrus one, Luca and Sonny being the nostalgic anime boys ( even almost matching the same voices with the original singers ), Ren and Ver being the Pop Prince ( and Princess ), and the rest giving the different flavors to cook up their multi-genre performance.... Ahh, that was such a great weekend!
since no one brought up about kotoka (which I think I should) she amazed me with her growth over the past 6 months! I always stayed when she did karaoke livestream cause her voice is sooo great and hv many potential! she can lower her pitch and make a growl singing ado's song but she can also do a higher pitch with idol and she does it seamlessly! I love this girl failure so much that I think I should bring her up every single time!🥺💖

Sometimes I hear her feeling anxious about ever having to be working in a demanding job like retail again, and of course if it turns out one has to work like that to survive, then one will be able to endure it. But I feel like if there is any justice in this world, she can make a living as a singer for as long as she wants to. Also in terms of how the world works, regardless of what is morally right or how good of a singer someone is, I feel like having the kind of fans who are really committed to you as both a singer and as and an idol (writing "person" feels too parasocial) is a big advantage nowadays. Well, that's what I'm hoping at least.
