- I am a sucker for smart bulbs. I just love how convenient it is to turn on and off your light with voice control, set sleep timer, change colours etc. But I don't use just any bulbs. I only use the Mi Smart LED bulbs or the #Yeelight Smart LED bulbs. because it is very easy to set up, reliable, it works with Alexa or google home and it is very cost effective.

In india the same bulb is available under mi branding which costs ₹699 (9.3$).. i have purchased couple of these during sale at ₹590 (8$).. extremely happy with the brightness and functionality of the lights. 😀
How does it dim compared to the 1S? As personally I find the 1% dimming on the 1S kind of dissapointing and too bright. Does this go lower?
My Xiaomi Home app doesn't see this bulb, Yeelight app does, and I cannot connect it to wireless switch. All 1S bulbs and older ones work normally and are listed in Xiaomi Home, just not new color W3.
What better 1s or 3w?
w3

What is better:
Yeelight Smart LED Bulb W3 -VS- Xiaomi Mi LED Smart Bulb Essential (White & Color) ???
need cellphone to control it only ?
its taking forever to connect to my iphone 10xr and it would go to 25% and sometimes to 50% then get disconnected. If you don't connect the device the first time I feel like i have to factory reset everytime to try to get all 3 working at the sametime as a unit.... don't know wat to do, plz help
Can i ask where did you get your desk lamp in this video?
does it have any physical mounted light switch?
Does it works with Apple HomeKit? I cant connect with my Apple Homepod mini ;(
Can i set a timer/alarm for the light bulb to turn on at 6AM so it could wake me up? (my eyes are sensitive to light)
Yes you can
@@gadgetsLZ does is turn on gradually over time or all at once?
@@Blueskyeyes18 you can configure that. I use sunrise mode, which starts at a red color with low brightness, making it easier to wake up.
Where I can buy this wooden lamp, not bulb ?
Does this support Flex Switch or SLIsAOn?
Can the device be added through Google Home directly?
It seems like doesn't work with my Philips Hue Smart Hub. Could be a good stuff. I was considering to buy, but now i'm disappointed.
Does it support Flex Switch (SLISAON)?
CRI is miserable... about 82 according to OPPLE light meter (pro version). It measures CRI 100 for sunlight though.
Frankly, all Chinese led bulbs demonstrate poor CRI, 78 to 83. Ikea 16watt bulb shows CRI 90...
0.3 W stand by.. OMG, which was the stand by power consume on the previous model?
0.9 W
Inwish you could aend me that here thru Boxes😍
It's their latest smart bulb? As u said Improved..
Yes
Does it support Apple HomeKit as the older 1s?
Yes
I have 3 Yeelight devices and i have been struggling with problems all the time. I do not recommned it. If problem occurs there is no fix and you have no support. And I am an IT engineer.
My problem is that when I dim the lights with any compatible app , they turn red instead of dim
Never had a peroblem on any of them tf
Is light dimming supported?
Light dimming is only via the App. Not via the bulb socket with a dimmer function.
@@gadgetsLZ Hi, I am asking this because I didn't see any dimming settings in the app in this video. Am I missing something?
@ you can only dim the light manually via the app. But you can choose sunset or sunrise for it to automatically dim or light up
👏👏👏
does it connect to 5ghz wifi?
Only 2.5 GHz
Shame that this company call their products "smart"
