I enjoyed the narration on your video, would love to hear some interesting facts / history on your stops....more like a Documentary .....thank you.....
I see that you are using the r1200gsa hard cases. Are those panier racks also normal bmw 1200gsa racks or did you have to customize them to fit your 1150gsa?
Yeah. The panniers are from 1200gsa. the racks are for 1150gs but with mounting for 1200gsa panniers. So it's a mix. Somebody in Italy makes and sells these. Funny thing is that the topcase i have is the original 1150 one
Do you have stock exhaust on your bike? I have a Remus on mine and I'm worried it won't pass a test in Spain. I'm moving there in a few years time and I'm wondering if I should fit the OEM exhaust. Your opinion please.
My exaust is stock. Spanish inspection (ITV) is very very picky, and with my understanding they are getting even worse, so my suggestion is to put the OEM exhaust. Also make sure blinkers and other stuff has the correct E homologation (like E11, E9) as they watch for that stuff as well
1 liter per 1000 kilometers??? This is not normal if the engine is in good condition. Unless you are driving non-stop on the highway at 160-180 kilometers per hour. I pour Motul 7100 15w50 oil in my BMW r1150GSA and when driving calmly and solo, I add practically nothing. Regsrds
There is a second part to this trip: ruclips.net/video/hkTZdGFXcn8/видео.html

Your rpm is quite high, have you a short 6th gear?
I'm not really sure on this. i suspect that i have a long 6th. because i also have a very long 1st. my first can go up to 50.
