I agree about the table. The world is a bit crazy at the moment. Many people are saving rather than spending. Good on you
Stephanie, that challenge really works. I have done it for several years. It makes you pay attention to every dollar. It is a good challenge for children using quarters. It really makes them excited about saving. Every Dollar is a great budgeting tool. It helps you have a place for every dollar. It allows you to have a saving category as well as a fun money category etc.
Hi Stephanie! You are definitely on the right track in thinking about your finances. You are young enough to benefit from sound financial decisions now. I didn't make a lot of smart decisions in my youth but one thing that I did do was to make some good financial decisions. I was able to retire at age 55 and I live a most comfortable life. I am able to do the things I want and also be able to help take care of my family which gives me my most joy. So good on you--keep it up!!!

Hey Tina!! I get it . I still clean with music. It’s just not as quiet in the background. But not every video will be ASMR, so you’ll still get music with a muted background sometimes. Just have to give variety sometimes😃 but I like both myself, so it’s not gone lol!

Good morning. I understand about the table and chairs. 4 years ago I bought a new one and don’t care for it. It’s pretty but not that comfortable because it’s the higher up one and to sit, you have to put your feet on a bar, or have them dangle. We’ve been looking around. Will see. I agree about buying things. I need to shop more by what I need than what I want. Putting money aside is important. You can at least take longer to think about it. I’ve gone on many shopping sprees that I end up donating the things within a year or 2 anyway. Thanks for the video!

Hey Queen here in the comments usually have you on big screen but I'm still here and living for the ASMR as well. Wanted to pop on here and say hey going back to watch! ❤ I definitely agree with you sis in terms of looking where you are in life and not looking around and worrying about what others are doing. People's homes and lifestyle are such a personal experience and decision and I respect that. Also agree with the empty room decorations. I also considered that when we purchased I didn't want to what I call decorate to dust areas. Lol we didn't need anything formal spaces in our lives at this time. We did when we were hosting and all children were younger. Now it's just us three in the house the older ones are out on their own so we definitely considered that. We have what we need which is a bedroom and we all have a lounge area we can retreat to of our own and that's perfect. I'm at the point in my life where I'm doing the opposite which is decorating for my last era of life meaning the stuff that's here to stay cause I ain't doing this crap in my 60's. Traveling is definitely in our cards more now as it was when the other kids were younger. Your home is beautiful and you will add to it in Stephanie's time not youtubes time or anyoneelse's. Thats the thing i love about me, i do what i want in my time and thats when you enjoy it the most. See you soon sister Queen ❤

I agree with all that you’ve said here sis. Now don’t get me wrong, I definitely do what I want when I want, but yes, I have been guilty of getting caught up in content creation when it comes to spending. I think a lot creators do. Not every time because this is my home and decorating was going to be a thing anyway. But getting caught up in the excitement of a new home and entertaining my audience, yes it has played a role in my already impulsive spending if that makes sense😊 that’s really what I was saying.
So now I’ve had a chance to reflect on things and how I ACTUALLY want to use my dollars, there are certain things that are just not important to me anymore. I’m always going to make myself comfortable however that looks for me at the time within reason and much thought, but I’ve been purchasing home decor all of my adult life and it’s gotten old TO ME.
I want to see what will happen if I do the exact opposite of what I’ve been doing and that’s going to be something new and exciting and life changing for myself. I just realized that I don’t even look at my decor past a week of purchase lol and that’s when I knew I needed a change.
I’m all for a lovely home and I will always have a lovely home, but I just have a different perspective now💕😃
But… I’m making a lot of plans that y’all will see manifest in due season and it’ll all make sense. I’m planning to live and not to die, so I’ve had a wake-up call girl😃

If only I could blame RUclips for my spending, but my husband, who doesn't even like the camera, will get on here and call me out. I literally was decorating my house when we met the problem was in my garage was full and floor to ceiling a whole other house lmbo. What I am changing is no more changing everything for all the smaller holidays! Now baby, I can truly blame RUclips for that. I decorated for seasons and the wind blowing etc 🤣🤣. Girl, that was short-lived. I think I stopped that last couple of years because I looked around and said I just don't want all that crap in my house all the time." It was fun while it lasted but no more. I will live through others because I still like to see but not in here. I do need that magic 🎩 Genie to sprinkle me some money so I can finish what I gotta do here so I can sit back and enjoy. Planning a cruise, hopefully next year, God willing! Thinking about all the coins I saved when I was younger it wasn’t waisted because I had to end up helping people or emergency cases and this system we live in is built against us.
