我是過去的香港人而成功在十多年前獲得新加坡公民資格。每一個被孝慮移民的國家都有其優點和缺點。在這里，我不願評論那個國家好或不好。不同年纪的人有不同需求。我初初來到新加坡是覺得新加坡天氣很热，但慢慢接受了。香港人為什麽移民？相信同多次香港的移民潮跟政治和社會稳定有密切的關係。我也有親友移民加拿大和澳洲，最後也離開當地。若果要找一個國家跟香港生活習惯不一樣的地方，這為甚麽要移民呢？很多香港人不太了解新加坡民生，政治和她的好處，人云亦云地說她的壞處。其實新加坡政府對人民很貼心的。你安份守己又何必恐懼受法律的制裁。很多東西隨時間改變的。新加坡政府是聽民意的。新加坡也有反對黨在國會當議員。香港人應該改變自己的看法。不是你是否喜歡選擇移民新加坡，而是新加坡選擇你是否她需要的人。
我永遠都不會考慮新加坡的，喜歡香港🇭🇰

老實講，一般香港人都唔夠條件移民去新加坡，而家門檻已經好高，去到，生活成本好貴，都幾難頂，尤其房屋，除非經濟條件好好
地方無好壞。只有適不適合自己。適合自己的就是好地方。不需要污衊或看不起一個自己不熟悉的地方。

真心建議香港的朋友們要移民請直接選英、美、加、澳移民，其他地方都不要考慮了。

新加坡男仔要當兵，如果屋企有男仔，要考慮清楚，最好比小朋友細個d過去，早d學習新加坡文化，及愛國教育，當兵果陣會好d，如果太大個先去，唔明白當兵為乜，相對會比較辛苦

香港，不是一個國籍
香港人的國籍是中國 ，Chinese
香港的永久居民只是住滿7年
擁有香港永久居民，又係中國國籍，就可以了申請香港特區護照，有不少香港人，例如佢係巴基斯坦籍，都申請唔到香港特區護照
而香港永久居民 呢個身份，係不可輕易放棄，要離開香港3年以上，仲要向入境署申請 放棄香港永久居民，先可放棄
所以，片主說出，新加坡的citizenship，要求沒有雙國籍
其實只要放棄中國國籍就得了
不用放棄香港永久居民身份

每個地方都有優缺，我個人認為都係要權衡利害，揀一個適合自己發展事業的地方
響呢個時代，相較天氣/飲食呢類個人能夠overcome的微觀小事，宏觀黎講新加坡在東亞的地理/制度/語言/政治優勢太大，正正常常都有排贏
其实新加坡人看香港和香港人看新加坡人的看法应该是互相看不顺眼的。没办法大家都有各自的优越感，对于GDP高的地方都是这样很正常的，我相信北京上海东京这些地方也是这样。但是客观来讲身为新加坡人的平均生活压力肯定比香港人轻得多，毕竟每个家庭最大的支出也就是住房被新加坡政府很好的解决了。无论独裁还是民主，只要能照顾好自己国民的我都觉得是好政府，新加坡做到了，香港还还要多多努力，加油!🎉🎉

加多句：依家申請PR真係超超超難，申請入籍就更加唔駛講。仲有！如果申請PR時你係以EP身分黎新加坡工作，享受公司既expat package，我建議你同公司問清楚，假如攞到SPR status 唔會對你既perks有影響。記住攞到SPR都要至少等三年先可以有資格買二手HDB。

移民什麼國家都很難，請評估自己的能力，不要能力不夠去怪當地政府的政策。而且不要為了離開某地而移民，而是因為喜歡而移民，不然會經不起挫折就又要換國家。
申請PR有一個潛到不能潛的規則，就是馬來西亞國籍的批准率肯定會比較高，所以作為香港人的妳拿不到也是正常

我同意某位回应的，是新加坡选择你，不是你选择新加坡。有本事，是急需的人才，不可能被拒绝。我是香港移民来新加坡的。庆幸来的早。
有些事要说明i：
一，几乎没有国家的护照好用过新加坡。
二，拿了新加坡公民，不影响香港居留权，无限制居留时间，工作无限制，要交强基金，派钱也有份。不能做特首罢了。

maybe the relevant question is whether the Sg Government wants you as it has a very selective policy. A PR status in Sg under the Professional Pass scheme is subject to the renewal of the Reentry Permit every 5 years, unlike a Green Card..etc.
nah, just be an indian CECA and PAP will welcome you like how your HKSAR is under CCP, SG will be de facto under India BJP

當有得選擇下，仲有一樣因素唔會諗新加坡：22-35歲了解鄰近國家/地區的，多數係台灣、南韓及日本，它們的物質/口腔期生活會較豐富，除非有了解6-80年代東南亞與香港之間的歷史，否則好少人會選擇。
原因很简单，🇸🇬在社会体制上非常接近中国，中国有的管控措施如：社会信用等级、网络监控、媒体国家化、禁止游行示威等新加坡一样不缺，甚至执行得更加严格。🇭🇰人想出走一大原因无非就是为了重获言论自由等文明世界普世价值，这样到新加坡的话等于是到了“迷你中国”，或者说小朝鲜，大费周章却是竹篮打水白忙一场，又何必呢？

你去新加坡 2020 并在 2 年内两次申请 PR，希望成功是一个幻想 😀 先做宝宝再申请有更好的机会但不保证一定能成功 😀😀
现如今不是你要不要选择移民新加坡，而是新加坡批不批准你的移民申请！移民加拿大、投诉加拿大太闷太冷；移民澳洲、投诉澳洲牛羊多过人；投诉其他欧美国家，投诉中餐不好吃；移居泰国马来，又觉得人家落后不够in。很多时候，选择都是双向的，觉得不合你的胃口，可以不来，就留在合你胃口的地方好了，何必无事惹尘埃？

when hongkonger want to move in to Japan while Japanese want to move out of the Country vice versa, there's so many foreigner living and working in Japan. Just take example my 2 tour guide in Japan , one is a Taiwanese and the other one is a Europeans, not to mention , 24hrs convenience store , is all Indian , and hospital is occupy with pinoy , store assistant is from China, is so different from what I know of Japan, the job is all fill up with Foreigners, isn't the same situation as Singapore, when both country is facing aging population, is inevitable.

Singapore is just an island and if more people were to migrate here, Singapore citizens will face fierce job competition and housing limitations. Housing prices will soar due to demand and limitation of land. Soon Singaporeans will be like Hong Kong, living in Pigeon Holes with a
high cost of living. Priorities are for Singaporeans (pioneers), so please spare a thought for their survival. Too much competition is not healthy.
Singapore is a small island and yeah, lifestyle would be the same hectic and small. An option can be in KL. But both cities/places would be hard to get PR unless marry local. Its the only way
Many HK took MM2H in Malaysia. They have option to take Sarawak MM2H or Sabah MM2H as different requirements. Most people only know West Malaysia MM2H which is less benefits. Sg is a small country and quite strict is their SPR and citizenship application.

Depending on how you look at it, Singapore, as a country, is in a position to pick & choose who it wishes to accept as a PR/citizen. So, it is as much a choice by potential immigrants as it is a choice by Singapore. That said, do come to our sunny island & experience life here for some months. There is much to love

Actually they are looking for people with long term commitment or local linkage. So my friends have tried volunteering for national type events and projects, study MBA or courses in Singapore. Of course those that married, have children or bought houses definitely showed some long term intention.

From my point of view, the most important factor in selecting which country to migrate to is how easily I can find a good job there. Don't struggle in some not important factors. SG government is too strict though. Even someone who work high paying job, speaks Multiple languages and have no criminal records could still get their working visas or PR rejected for years. It happens to both of my friends. One of them from Taiwan and the other one is from Hong Kong.

Compared to Taiwan, Singapore is closer to Australia but farther from Japan and Korea. Taiwan is free, safe, and has many natural landscapes, while Singapore has high salaries and many shopping centers.
新加波地小天然資源少，在批PR時會考慮對方是否對新加波有一定程度上的貢獻，不會隨意允許讓有的沒的都進來成為PR或新加波人。新加波沒四季也可以省去換季的衣著問題，和換季所帶來的一些健康反應。新加波也是個嚴格遵守法規的國家，而且到處都是電眼協助治安，不能集會不能街頭暴力等等。

Our grandparents or some parents are also immigant from China or Hong Kong. Singapore is a papper-chased society, you have to spend your whole life studying, forgotten what's life. It's hard to get rich here if you're a salary man. Restrictions, more and more rules and regulations were added each year. ( NO sign everywhere),

On Singapore being warm/hot, we are the only developed country in the tropics. There was a study that says heat reduces productivity and clearly it didn't apply to Singapore because we are highly air conditioned. For those HKers who can't even think of "malling" in malls or other public air conditioned places in Singapore are those that Singapore does not want too - too dumb.
On strict laws, actually laws are only strictly enforced when they are new or when the old problem is resurfacing as a social problem or when someone made a specific complaint to the police. I am often topless in my room after a shower but I don't have police knocking at my door because I don't purposely go near the window to parade myself and do obscene actions to outrage my neighbours when they look at my direction. Only people with tendencies to always want to irk people around them or have criminal intentions will find Singapore strict and perhaps dangerous for them.
I have a South Korean friend who once said Singapore is strict because we don't allow Airbnb. I was like duh... How are they even related?

去年获批新加坡公民、永久居民的人数比2020年的人数多。（特别是永久居民）
其中，公民获批约2万1500人，永久居民则批准约3万3400人。
香港的年轻人 特别是香港任何一所大学毕业的年轻人 基本上 只要有工作 就可以拿到PR。
按照新加坡过去10年的批准人数情况来看，每年永久居民获批人数约3万人左右。
但去年却突然增多了3000多人，可以说是“意外状况”。

There was a time when Singapore welcomed potential immigrants from HK, before 1997. Many HKer's did not look at Singapore favourably, then ( *and still don't* ) and thumbed their noses at us. But amongst those who accepted Singapore's offer then, once they got their citizenship, they gave it up to return to HK or to move to another country. In other words, they used the Singapore's offer of citizenship or PR as a "stepping stone" to another country of their preferred choice.
HKer's have always looked down on Singapore and that is a *FACT* you only need to see the likes of some of SCMP editors like Peter Kammerer and Jake Van Der Kamp who frequently likes to disparage Singapore when comparing HK to Singapore. So, it is time for Singapore to consider whether it is well worth to again offer PR or citizenship to HKer's when they really don't think well of us anyways.
What HK fails to realize is that their fate and fortune is closely tied to China. Singapore will continue to progress as a country. Although ASEAN is currently small compared to China, China with its waning fortunes and the exit of western companies decoupling from China's economy, ASEAN will rise and the day will come when it really doesn't matter whether HKers would prefer to come to Singapore or not.

新加坡沒有颱風地震，麻六甲海峽戰略位置比臺灣海峽更重要。
建立臺灣自尊不必踩踏他國尊嚴。
If you are willing to immerse yourself in a foreign culture that is the opposite of your own, in time, you will lose your own identity and your cultural identity. After all, you are not in familiar surroundings and always inwardly you will feel as an outsider. This is something you can never ever change.
This age group (25-35) without money and property is far from practical. They have missed a very important JOB factor in their immigration consideration! Would they be guaranteed a job in these countries. Their own citizens already struggling and not to mention this lot of second or third class citizens! Do not be so naive, think of your livelihood there. If you do not have the means to meet ends needs then good climate, relax rules, cultural change etc will not bring you far! Many of my friends have migrated and echo the same comments that life is tough there and wanted very much to return home! No job and they have to act blissful in front of everybody! It’s not as easy as what you see and think! To me, I still think Singapore is a fantastic, safe, clean and multi cultural country which I call HOME!
Talented people can go or remain anywhere and succeed.
If I turn the question around how many Singaporeans would want to emigrate to HK, I can't think of many, so from this perspective, I would expect not many Hong Kongers would want to come to SG as well. 🤣🤣
