Great review man! In regards to the smell, try spraying REALLY cheap vodka in it and airing it out in the sun. Old hockey coach told us to do that so our pads wouldn’t smell since they lived in our bags between practices and it worked!

Out of all the carriers I’ve tried, this one really stands out in comfort, modularity, and build quality. I would say however it’s one crippling downside to me is the inability to quick release from the shoulder. If you ever get shot wearing a pc without true quick release and it penetrates, you’re just dead. They can QD the cummerbund all they want, they’re not gonna be able to get that thing off you unless they awkwardly force your head through it. No ditching your kit in order to drag you easier either.
You could just....... cut the strap.

There is now a shoulder QD adapter by mission 7 tactical. Looks like a good fix.

What armor do you run?
You don’t have any issues with the plates wanting to dump out? I can’t decide if I want a kzero or k19
None what so ever. I’ve ran miles on end and they’ve never tried falling out. Highly recommend for sure man!
Is there enough space for heart armor and soft armor?
