Thank you for showing and stating that it is safer to travel to manali now. The floods were terrible and washed away most of the main roads but they are indeed almost back to normal. Loved your vlog and as a proud Neo owner in manali, appreciate your video 🙌
Bunny, as much as i like your vehicle reviews, i absolutely love your travelogues. I subscribed to your channel , after the altroz turbo to Ladakh. Please keep uploading these. Btw, i have a Bolero neo N10. Brought last year after i saw your review. 🎉
Clutch bohot smooth hai aur gearshift bhi mast aur smooth hai. I have test driven and booked the car, kaafi badhiya hai clutch aur kaafi halka bhi hai.
hi Bunny I just booked Neo. I believe it is a very underrated vehicle in Indian Market. Dont know why people think it as only a vehicle meant for Rural areas. I stay in Bangalore and after test drive I was very satisfied and booked it right away. Hoping to get by Black Beast Bagheera by end of the month.
Video is good and so is the vehicle. But notice that in many occasions we see Maruti cars like Maruti ECO on way towards Rohatang pass (18:31) and in Manali Baleno and Alto😊
Sir seen your video several times..itz just fabulous. Planning to buy n 10(O) but dealers telling that it will getting late,, so planning for N 10 although going to miss MLD,, but should I approach towards it or to wait for N 10 (o) MLD.. sir asking that is it really required for Bolero Neo,,
Hi, whats your headlight level on your Bolero neo during highway drive? Are your stock headlights sufficient for highways at night? I feel it needs upgrade.
Back seat feels abit straight up. Could have been better. It's a bench type seat, easily can have 3 passengers. Body roll when hard cornering and on poor road conditions.
Happy with first row comfort. Had the car for a week. No complaints. Second row feels spacious due to headroom though the recline angle is limited (due to presence of 3rd row) Sound that at timeline is some GoPro part moving in the open storage space above glovebox. We hit a bump (you can see me moving a bit) and the part moved in the storage bin
Hello Bunny brother...Hope u are fine ! I am your follower and admire your work... Bro I need your expert advice regarding buying new Bolero Neo ... I have seen your youtube video reviewing it but still in person I want to know about it's ride quality...Is is smooth ? My daughter recently graduated and we like a car like this...Can she drive this properly ? We shortlisted it as per our budget and requirements... I hope to receive your reply. T/C Warm and Kind Regards
Great on good proper straight/dedicated highways. Can't push hard during hard bends due to tall body and body rolls. Feels well planted if vehicle is full with passenger/load.
Super views, Bunny ! If only the Neo had an automatic gearbox, it would have been considered by me, despite being a diesel, which has become a strict NO-NO in Delhi. A worthy soft roader indeed, although I feel Mahindra could have launched a version with a TC auto box, better interiors and features, albeit on the expensive side. This is purely utilitarian and best suited for rural or semi urban environments. Coming to think of it, this is the same engine doing duty in the RWD 1.5 THAR !! Although tough, its ride is stiff and bouncy, not particularly suited for the city and highways. Has loads of body roll and is not a high speed cruiser. But yes, if you want a go most places car, RWD and abuse friendly, there's only ONE choice !
Thanks Sandeep! Yes, the earlier TUV300 had an automatic but not this one. Even the low cost AMT would do and give this SUV an even wider audience appeal
Hey, Nothing beats a diesel when it comes to torque and efficiency. Lot of diesel owners take some effort to sell their cars out of Delhi..diesel demand is high in places like Punjab / Himachal / kerala. Enjoy the diesel bolero Neo for years and then takes one effort to sell it outside. Plus good discounts are ON for this month
Bought a 2016 Mahindra TUV300, I was looking for a proper compact SUV with real capabilities. TUV300 ticks every boxes, but really i visited Matheran and was stuck in uphill traffic. After a while smoke started coming from clutchplate region, is it normal? Just subscribed, thanks for this beautiful content!
Excellent video loved it, I have few questions about Neo as I was having xuv300. A).About body roll. B). Gear shifts. C). As in XUV300 you have to shift gear at speeds less than 20 to first gear. So Is it the same gearbox as in xuv300
Body roll is evident in bad roads. Since it's a tall body, can't turn hard. Not much during driving in city and proper straight highways on good roads. Neo has 1.5 diesel, annoyingly short gears at 2nd and 3rd range in eco mode.
1. Yes bcoz this is the body on the frame chassis. So it is its character on bad roads. On normal roads, you might feel it only at high speeds. 2. Lowend torque is amazing so engine knocking or stalling doesn't happen. Gear shifts are quick in 1 to 3 and high in 4-5 3. Gear shifts are tuned in a way to purchase as much torque in BoleroNeo & I'd say better than Xuv300
Hi Bunny, always loved your videos, you explain some technicalities in a simple way. I remember they way you explained the 4 speed Brezza Automatic. Was wonderful for a Mechanical engineer like me. This Car?, 1) how is the basic quality of engineering? (talking about how it will behave 6, 7 years later..will it hold? or scream for frequent maintenance? 2) You think they are planning an update? any soon? Expecting Mahindra to soon, update with the following missing basic necessities. 1. Few Places to keep Cell Phones. 2. Android Auto and Apple carplay 3. Rear Camera. 4. Utility space: Lot of space between the Front Seats is wasted. Can easily be made into a Storage Box cum common large Sliding Arm Rest for both sides. Utility Space Under the Front seat. 5. Replace Music System with a Premium one (like Bose/Harman). After all, this car is meant for Long drives and long drives need a good music system. 6. Automatic gear Box Option, can be a game changer. People wont mind paying extra, since these are necessities
Hey, thanks for the words :) 1) This is based on the TUV300 which itself has a solid base. These type of vehicles are used a lot in rural and semi urban areas and hence engineered that way. I think 6-7 yrs down the line, the Bolero Neo will feel solid enough. And the engine is a gem 2) Hmmm, don't think so. What will come soon is the Neo Plus or the longer version with a bigger 2.2 litre engine

Hi Bunny, Another Question, What about Diesel ban boing proposed for major cities? Considering that, there is a hesitation. Do you think, the Government will allow the first 15 years to run diesel vehicles, without suddenly pulling the rug, but an outright ban?, if pollution levels raise? What is your view?
If diesel engines are going to get banned in a couple of years, why then govt allowing them to sell diesel cars now/still? diesel vehicles for consumers from production will be banned after 2027 still diesel cars for heavy duty will be continued production. It doesn't mean already bought cars should not run on the road. Hope this answers. If you buy a diesel car now, without any doubt you won't be stopped/banned from using it for the next 15-18 years for sure.
@@itishariram Wish our Governments are so considerate to people! Fact is as soon as pollution levels shoot up for Metros, some Governments blindly impose bans! Thats the worry! Logically, you have a point! But many of our governments are either ‘Knee Jerk’ mindset, or ‘Voter appeasement’ mindset. Thinking with a holistic view is rare, with our Governments!

If Mahindra provides 4x4 option on this vehicle it will be great.
Impossible, it will affect Scorpio and Thar in 4x4 category customers base.
It comes with differential lock
I'd say 4x4 with 1.5L TGDi petrol engine would be ideal for this ladder on frame vehicle. Alternatively, 4x4 in 1.2 L XUV300 TGDi monocoque..
Need Automatic rather than 4x4
Sir, how is highway stability 120 mai cruise kar sakte hai kya.
Perfect is 80-100kmph. Since it has tall body, it will face cross wind.
How is the seating comfort of middle seat in long journey. I mean body roll

Definitely tough time for rear passengers
AC is good and enuff for front and back seats but not sure for third row seats.

Hi, did you find the reason or solve the clutch plate smoke? Was it due to half clutch driving?
I am getting 15kmpl with same speed trend on highway. Any suggestions to improve the economy?
