As a father, I can tell you it really doesn’t emotionally hit you until the baby is born and you are holding him/her in your arms. You get this overwhelming surge of emotion of “I am going to protect you forever!” Then you will know instantly what it’s like to be a father. Congrats and Mazel Tov!
