Tip for newer runners: don’t trust “reviews” from people who haven’t actually used the shoe yet… he said in another video that he didn’t like these shoes and they injured him during this race. Other than this bs video, His post-use shoe reviews are solid and helpful
Only running shoes I buy!! Honestly worth the price. Best I've ever purchased. 8 pairs and adding!! 😁 Now.. If they came out with barefoot minimalist running shoes. That would be awesome!! And.. now realizing, I've been pronouncing the name wrong for years!!
Repeats lots and lots of repeats. 400 repeats 800 repeats running anywhere from 5 to 10 miles at easy pace. Do the repeat at about 10 seconds faster than your goal pace. Practice having faster turnovers
The most important thing is getting good mileage with a few easy runs (4-6) miles middle distance runs (5-7) miles and a one time a week long run (8-10) miles also incorporate a weekly 4 mile tempo run with a pace that’s 25-30 seconds faster than your 5k pace and this will help you get faster and build up your endurance. Also make sure you run slow and that will help a lot. Tell me if you got any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them
