Love the throuple concept. Since they want to raise a family together, will you use them as the growing together family for the new dynamic game play? It'll be cool to see how the kids would feel about all parents and siblings

@jvseventeen lol the update probably did it in. So I'm gonna play the sims 2 till I know for sure all the mods I use are updated. I can't play vanilla anymore

The bed is brilliant. I struggle to find furniture or poses or animations for my polyam sims that isn't Wicked W related, and I love this. They're so cute and fun! This is... surprisingly fluffy by Whiny Brit's standards, but I'm enjoying it.

This is a realistic depiction of a functional throuple in real life. Everyone plays a part, contributes their skills and talents and raises a family as a "village". When we remove jealousy from any romantic relationships, the productivity and possibilities are enormous. Humans have a massive capacity to love and live harmoniously. Hopefully society will see the benefits of open relationships and destigmatize the participants who are unfairly labeled as deviants.

I'm not polyam because I am personally just not built for it, but my Sim is poly in a female-male-male triad. She has two kids with her husband, a child from prev relationship, her husband has a child from a prev relationship, and then she has a child with her other partner - so five kids total, 2 related to one dad, 1 related to the other dad. Both dad's treat all the kids as their own and autonomously care for them, help around the house, offer advice to the kids and receive school phonecalls about the kids behaviour at school, etc.
They are all in love with one another and autonomously kiss and romantically interact on their own... They actually can't stand to be around each other without expressing their love - they just attended a celebrity awards show tonight and sat in the audience and chatted the entire time and ignored the speakers. They're literally obsessed with each other 😂 It fills me with so much joy, and it's such a beautiful thing.
I don't see how anyone could find polyamory deviant or wrong. It has been such a beautiful experience watching them fall in love with one another that it occasionally moves me to tears. I am so happy for the real people who live in families with that much love in them.

Love this concept. Haven't watched the vid yet, but I play a poly family mod free. I basically just got them all to max out the serial romantic aspiration to unlock the 'player' reward (shudder at the naming of said reward.) Main downside for me is that all three can't be actually married (although I did wedding pics and rings to create that feel in their household.) And also kids aren't recognised as belonging to all three which _really_ annoys me (can I rectify this by adopting as care dependent?) One of my favourite families though.
Maybe lumpino can add that as a option to be able to marry multiple sims

If you add them as care dependent it’ll work :) I have a family like that and I always do it with step-parents so they don’t accidentally flirt with the kids when they age up 🤦🏽♀️
Haha It is almost like, when everyone's in agreement on a relationship and set boundaries they keep. Any type of relationship can work.
I have a family with throuple parents too! It’s so cool that mods allow you to do that. I tried to do it without mods and it didn’t work at all. I’m glad I’m using mods now

I had no idea sims could scooch across a bed like that, so i never mashed two beds together for my throuple as i assumed it wouldnt work. Im so glad i watched this, and learned this! Not being able go have them all in the same bed has been driving me nuts, thank you so much 🥺
ive tried this a few times with the serial romantic aspiration , as your sims wont get jealous seeing anyone with that trait flirting with others . but eventually it always seems to go south somehow. nonetheless i live for some good sims 4 drama so i dont complain
I love the freelancer career. The artist branch is probably my favorite, because with the sketch pad you could pull off multiple gigs in one Sim Day, if you time it right. Btw, (this is just a suggestion) consider getting your Sims a sketch pad instead of an easel, especially when you are trying to save space. The nice thing about the sketch pad is that you can order your Sims to do multiple images. I've been playing Sim 4 since 2018 and I completely forgot about that sketch pad until one of my Sims got into the artist career under freelancer. Maybe you already know about it. But when I discover something, I want everyone to know a good deal when I find one.
I use wicked whims to do this it’s so cute cause if one shows love to the one sim they make sure to kiss the other sim right after!
it's so odd to me that sims is a life simulation game and there's not even something like a working movie theatre in the game lol. Love your videos tho, you always have such good ideas!

I just made my first poly-relationship in the Sims 4 and I'm so glad it's not just me! I used the BFF household because... well. they're already besties so the romance was easy! Also, raising a set of unplanned twins. I was originally going to have one child from each female but then Liberty had twins so I left it at that.
Be careful of the robotics station i think it can kill the sim using it if they get a dazed moodlet
If you have the player trait, noone gets angry, if you cheat either😊
Might have been an old glitch and not meant to be part of vanilla gameplay, but I recall relationship points still dropped if you “cheated” - as the game sees it - even if no Sim got a negative moodlet.

This is why i love using wicked whims along with the open love life mod. Makes woohoo with 3 or more sims possible with the polyam option selected.
Wicked whims let you have three sims lol. Two sims and you can invite them.
Not sure if you can do with the video friendly one tho (wonderful whims)

I've done throuples very well before. But I stopped playing with them because they had too many kids and got too rich so the house was too full and got laggy every time I played there. 😬
Also it was before the scoot bug was fixed so I had to have one single bed and a double bed, and they couldn't be butted up against each other, so it was alternating each night who slept alone

I've been thinking of playing around with the idea of having a quadrouple (a romantic relationship between 4 sims), even though it probably won't work as well from a console player's perspective, as PC players have access to mods. But it still sounds like something to try out and see if it works.
You can do it with the serial romantic aspiration. If you complete it it gives you a reward trait which basically lets your sims flirt with whoever they want without anyone getting jealous. Hope this helps 💗

I made a fake throuple in my sims One woman two men 😅. I am on PS4 so I can't use mods. But they live together, they have three kids one boy two girls. The woman stays in a separate room. They still get jealous but they do get over it.. But the mom is definitely the cook, one dad is the care taker of the kids and the other dad is the bread winner. I didnt even make them do that 😅

not everyone shaves everything , that's why you specify what you want them to. for example i know people that shave everything including arm hair but i only do armpits and leg when i shave. its giving variety. i t would be good if they have along side the different options an option to shave all so that you can either choose a specific part to shave or all of it.
