If you want a fairky inexpensive and brand new leatger fragrance,try out the Leather Malaki Chopard. If you want a roze abd leather combo,try out Safari extreme Abdul Samad Al Qurashi. If you want my newest favorite leather,try out Green Leather Daniel Josier.
The best suede scent, or at least fragrance with a suede note, that I have is the original Michael for Men by Michael Kors from 2001. I would also mention Raw Gold from Thomas de Monaco. I just ordered a decant of Suede de Suede by Mona di Orio. Haven't tried it yet. Would be hard to find an affordable bottle since the Mona di Orio brand has shut down.
I love suede leather perfumes. Cuir Beluga is in my top 5 for life. I also love Animalique and I don't really get animalic notes from it- it's an everyday fragrance for me. I also Babycat. Really need to try Almond Suede, esp since there's a honeycomb note, which I also love. Thanks!

I'm in London for 30 days and there's a beautiful Nicolaï boutique close to the house where I'm staying. Is there a suede like perfume in the house of Nicolaï. I will also head to Jovoy on Wednesday as well
I think I prefer the smell of suede it actually gives off a caramel type of smell to me, where as leather is more rubbery/peppery/animalic and suede is the softer more sweeter scent that can smell like caramel.
I definitely prefer suede notes. Fragrances like TF White Suede are much more to my liking, leaning into a lightly sweetened musk. Strong leathers just go very bitter to my nose and not in an enjoyable way.
@@ThePerfumeGuy I think you might like MOV a bit more, as they tend to be gourmandish and opulent. As far as these two mentioned go, they really give me that suede feel as opposed to leather (for example in Ombre Leather).
I like leather as a note but it can be challenging. I will have to do some suede comparisons now. Moonlight Patchouli is so nice. I’ve yet to try Babycat. I know I’m behind the curve on that one but really wanted to let the hype die down before committing.
I need a bottle of that now. So many people have recommended it. I remember sampling a while ago but never bought. It's time now perhaps. But when I go to France next year! :)

The only leather of theirs I know of Nicolai is their Baikal leather which is not suede but you can check that out. 😀

Birch tar can be a bit intimidating, but it adds a unique depth to the fragrance. It's not too strong though on me.

Suede leather seems more of a warm and comforting scent. Not as harsh as leather which done badly in a fragrance can be quite repulsive.
