ya, very popular Zündapp in the 60s, 70s. And Hercules and Kreidler in the West. When we were still a divided country, the Simson 50ccm were the best in the East-Zone.
At the beginning of the video is my little Moped Hercules from 1980. It runs up to 60 km/h, hahahaha. breathtaking speed.......

Hi Martin, thanks for sharing this video, there are so many wonderful and rare Mopeds. One I found unusual was to see a Zundapp KS50 Water Cooled model, NSU quigly mopeds were popular in the UK in the 50s and early 60s. I really enjoyed watching this Treffen. Cheers, Paul👍👍👍👍

@@Martin. Hi Martin, In the early fifties many people in the UK travelled with motorcycles and sidecars for the family. BMW (Isetta), Heinkel and Messerschmitt produced affordable and economical "Bubble Cars" and along with NSU (who also made Lambrettas under licence) Mopeds were imported into the UK.
Zundapp Bella Scooters were like the Rolls Royce of 2 wheelers in their day and were also imported. Only when the Mini was produced did sales of imports decline as they were quite cheap for the time.
I actually had a NSU Quigly and a Raleigh Moped when I was 15 (55 years ago) given to me by my neighbour for riding around fields. Great fun in those days. Cheers, Paul.👍👍

Da waren früher viele Märke die ein Sacks Motor benutzt haben. Hatte ein Spate mit Sacksmotor. Und habe ein Zúndapp gehabt. Wieder ein tolle Video Martin. LG Jan

Als ich 16 war, fuhren sehr viele Batavus bei uns in der Gegend, weil ein Händler in Itzehoe die Mofa`s verkaufte ( Ich glaube Niederlande Hersteller) mit dem gleichen Sachsmotor. Leider keine da heute, in Wewelsfleth.

@@Martin. Moin Martin. Batavus Fabrik steht noch immer in meine Heimatstadt Heerenveen. Nur produzieren keine Moped mehr. Nur Fahrräder mit und ohne Elektromotor. Die Fabrik ist so 2 Km von unseren Haus. LG Jan

Hi Martin , ist das deine Herkules 🤔🤔, klasse Mofa 😃👍👍. Ich hatte damals kein Mofa Führerschein 😞😞. Heute finde ich die alten Zweiräder echt Klasse 😃😃. Mein bester Freund richtet gerade auch eine Hercules von Grund auf wieder her 😄😄, er hat auch einige solche Zweiräder ( Zündapp , Hercules , usw.. ) sich in der Garage stehen 😃😃, fährt sie aber nie 😬😬😄😄, warum auch immer , er hat mehr Spaß , sie zum richten 😅😅. Ich habe aber auch ein Hercules Mofa von 1977 in roter Lackierung (selbst restauriert), sieht genau so aus.
Vielleicht macht dein Kumpel ja doch mal eine kleine Ausfahrt, wenn er dieses Video schaut.

Cooles Velotöffli hast Du da!? Ist das Deins? Übrigens Velotöffli sagen wir in der Schweiz zu Mopeds (Velo=Fahrrad; Töffli= kleiner Töff=kleines Motorrad.
Ich hatte nie ein Moped oder Motorrad, bin vom Fahrrad direkt auf‘s Auto umgestiegen.
Tolles Treffen, tolles Video.

ja, die grüne Hercules fahre ich. Töffli werde ich mein Vokabular aufnehmen. Finde ich genial.
Wir durften noch 1979 ohne Führerschein und ohne Helm die Velotöffli ab 15 Jahren fahren.
Aus 25 km/h wurden dann in der Regel mindestens 40 km/h nach einigen Veränderungen.
