I'm sorry haven't been watching a bit but I was losing my brother to liver cancer he just recently passed and I still miss him but I'm so glad he is no longer suffering! Thank you for sharing ❤😊 much love to yas
Great choice of battery, I've just fitted the 15.5 in my van a couple of months ago so we have no LPG, hot water for showers, induction hobs and air fryer all on electric. 1220 watts of solar on the roof Scandinavia tour this winter so that will be the real test!
My 2x 105amps in my campervan are awesome, I got them on your recommendation and like you say, fit them and forget about them, they are hassle free batteries 👍 I run an induction hob and an Air-fryer and charge the batteries with a NDS 80amp B2B and a 325w solar panel. 1 year FULL USE, fitted them Dec 2023. I was living in my van, so have had solid use every day and still running strong. Great company, Great product 👍
Marvellous piece of kit. Constant voltage if you ever get to run it on the low side. I had AGMs in my van, absolute rubbish and when they became discharged, they were finished. With the proper inverter and power distribution panel, you shouldn't need worry about the system and enjoy it. Air fryers are awesome and now you can use one.👍
We've been caught out twice where we've had weeks of bad weather, not looked at the monitors and suddenly the power has cut off without warning 😄 like you say, no noticeable drop until it finally cuts off. But just hook the genni up and off we go again 👌

@@LostInEurope how manny panels do you have ? In your sistem, how many whats per panel? I am considering buying the 3 rack frogstar battery cabinet with 6kw inverter and a least the minimun panels to take to EU in one go, Thinking in weight to carry in the van😉
It's quite a cheap one but has worked well without any issues. I believe they come under "iconica" and also other names. Ours is 3000w with 60a solar and 60a mains charger
Glad I scrolled through my yt subs as didn't have this vid flag up. Great you have the monster hooked up now. Hope Bob and both of you are all good. xx
set up a website that links these batteries so you get paid by people clicking on the links. look at Will Prowse YT he did it and is now a millionaire. Just look back at the videos where hes in a crappy camper, then his site starts getting hits he has a forum page where people talk about the good, bad and set up. we need something like that in Europe. good video.
I like Will's videos, he's very thorough in his testing and far more knowledgeable than me about this stuff. I only know the basics so hopefully I can be relatable for people in the same boat. I'm not really interested in becoming a millionaire, that sounds like a headache! Cheers 👍
What's the electronic install place uk did your solar and van battery setup need some one that knows there stuff. + what's your thought on heated pads for floors and outside battery van boxes? Cheers @@LostInEurope
I've tried to balance them by individually charging to 100% but eventually they fall out of sync again, according to the app anyway. I should have got the 24v versions really as would be better to run in parallel.
@@LostInEurope the fogstar pro batteries come with an active balancer which plugs into the battery. Perhaps that would be your ideal battery. You can buy active balancer since I own a cheap on from many years ago but I've never used it. If I remember correctly you connect to the negative then to each positive. You may be able to o adjust your balancing using the overkill solar application available on Android.
People near us have paid over 10,000kr per month in the winter, you think that is cheap? What happens if that power is ever cut off? It's also the fun of trying to make it work, we enjoy the challenge. 👍
Expensive battery. RUclips payin as I watch. Lol. No mere mortal can live like you guys. Let's stay in real life. People skint was a van channel life. I think stupid. People Skint watching you looking new life away high rents.

Nice man 👍 that b2b is a beast! I'm curious, have you had the same issues with the app readings as I guess you're running parallel?
100% I'm getting a Fogstardrift battery in our van and I even think I'll be getting the Beast with it's 608 amps..
Great video Ash. We are also 100% Fogstar. These guys are leading the market in lithium batteries and will continue to do so 😎
I've got the 105 same as your broken van has. Excellent battery and thanks for helping me move to lithium!
It's hard to believe that little box has almost the same capacity as the two agms I used to run in the big van. They were 80kg!
@@LostInEurope Exactly the same reasons I changed. I was running 2.

Still feels like a massive adventure, guess that's a good sign! 😁 Hope you're well man
Thanks for sharing the video! Do you have any referral or discount codes for the batteries? 👍🏻
Ash can you make a new video showing the components in this battery inverter setup, how many solar panels used.
great vid. name and model of inverter?
👍👍
Lol I seen these at a festival and they didn't know who you were lol and I showed them your video 🤣🤣
I've only spoken to the owner. Probably wasn't at the festival... 🤷♂️
I remember paying £500 for 100 a/h lithium a couple of years back thinking I had got a good deal, only heard good stuff about this company.

Hi Ash whats the minimun solar panels for the 6kw Victron inverter?
I'm not sure there is a minimum amount 🤔 maximum is 450v

"WOOD POWER! Off Grid Electricity from Wood " have a look at the video. it could sort out your generator charging.

Your batteries could be out of balance. They suggest you connect them in parallel to balance them.
It's not just the price, you need to express.
