Hey Melissa! Thanks for the comeback! I am a very good client of Fire Mountain Gems and Beads and now find myself buying Swellegant and other clay products because I want to experiment with polymer clay based on Christi's videos! Please make more videos with her and I look forward to a long association with polymer clay,. Christi and Fire Mountain Gems and Beads!

Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Val, my story is sort of the same as yours. My Mom went to art school, made toys to go with the books she was reading to us and then taught us how to make Barbie doll clothes so it's natural to craft. Just getting into polymer clay and love what I've seen. Glad to know you, take care, blessings, Val
You are such a wonderful speaker, teacher and humorist. I don't work with polymer clay, but I enjoy your enthusiasm and wit for this medium. Keep making videos, you are wonderful and I will be watching. God bless you.
I just love listening to you Christi and I think artists, and those who strive to be, of any medium can relate to what you are saying here. Now I'm off to make your wiggly cane. 😊 Thank you for sharing.
What book do you recommend for a novice like me? I have just discovered polymer clay and so far all I make is a MESS. I just loved this "Behind the Clay". You sound like you are about as crazy as I am. Any helpful hints etc will be greatly appreciated.
Since you found Christi's video helpful, let us first recommend her other polymer clay basics video: www.firemountaingems.com/resources/videos/e64k After that, try Lisa Pavelka's Complete Book of Polymer Clay: www.firemountaingems.com/itemdetails/h203785bk Both of those should be helpful!
I may be a little late to the party but I had to say.. Wow what a coincidence! I too was born at a very early age! Love your work, your sense of humour and your, barely noticeable to the untrained eye, ever so slight barmyness!
That was so enjoyable having Christi Friesen share some of her story😊🌻
I really miss your tutorials, come back to us! I love your energy and personality, you're a fun teacher!
+lilithmarleen Stay tuned, we plan more for the near future! -Elle
