They are really great. I have always used a weeny roller with a puff daddy nap to cut in corners. The big ones are an even bigger time saver since you don't have to take the time to cut in. My only complaint about both the small and big puff daddy naps is that paint tends to dry on the puffy ends during the course of the day and scratch the fresh paint as you apply it.
I use the 4 inch rollers like that and do all my corners first. If the ceiling and walls are the same color I do the wall first then the ceiling on the first coat. Then reverse the order for the second coat because the end of the roller creates holidays on the opposite wall
I'm A Professional Painter and Artist and I Agree, with that given i can do 10 Rooms in 8 hours with that I'm doing it now as we speak I am Pretty fast and that Roller works wonders i even used it a 30 foot extension rod yup works very well
I am finding that I almost always prefer microfiber roller covers Mondays. I live the way they work and I find that they clean and reuse a lot better and a lot longer also.
Can you do a video on how to prevent injury as a painter. Like how to avoid back problems and also any exercises you or your crew do to keep a strong and healthy body when you have so much wear and tear doing a manual labour job?
For a workout I would say stretch prior to starting work don't reach beyond your means work on front of you not behind you . Take frequent breaks , especially when painting a ceiling . Ceiling's are the hardest on your neck and back. Work smart hoppe this helps .
You recommend 3/8 nap rollers in other videos, this is 1/2. Is it ok to use this to cut in ceiling and paint the remainder of the ceiling with 3/8, or should I use 1/2 everywhere?
there is a very little difference between the finishes of the two sizes, and the ceiling is far enough to not see any different from the ground, so you can mix the sizes on the ceiling no problem. The easiest way just to use this roller for the whole ceiling, nd also 1/2 inch nap roller holds more paint then a 3/8 so less dipping =faster easier work.
The reason for the difference in nap sizes here has to due with the enclosed end of the Corner + Roller. A 3/8' nap would leave the material too thin on the end and the paint would bleed through. The 1/2' nap Microfiber works great on a smooth wall and is very comparable to a 3/8 regular roller.
Bought a 3-pack of these from your site to do a whole house, textured ceiling and walls (all white) and am having trouble after the first day. Coverage is splotchy on the small side of the corner. Even after a couple passes. From both ceiling to wall and wall-to-wall corners. Any tips? Should I be dipping the end in paint? Applying pressure differently then a regular roller? Pretty frustrating, have had to go back in and cut with an angled brush anyway to clean it up. Roller is great for coming up to the edge without worrying about scraping the adjacent wall though. Using 9" purdy frame, Mr. Longarm pole, Valspar signature eggshell paint. Ceiling is sort of swirl textured. Walls are pretty smooth.
This product is trash he must be getting paid to show this product. The roller is always going to be messy on the opposite side because it’s swirling not rolling.
Yes - you have to dip the end in the paint first and then can load up the roller in a tray like normal. You only need to dip the end in once typically.
It leaves circular marks on the other wall next to it..... I just use a paint brush and normal roller for cutting in. For whole walls i use an 18 inch xl purdy roller and it saves lots of time.
@@adrianadios5041 are you going into the corner from both directions? That will create swirls. But if you go in from one side and then start rolling on the next wall about a half inch from the corner you will leave a smooth finish. Not sure if I’m describing that well.
These will help me prime the room fast because I use the same primer on ceilings and walls but it won't help me with my two color ceiling wall situation. I read that Microfiber doesn't put as much paint on the wall as the regular rollers. I have thirsty walls!
They have polyester version too with higher capacity (but microfiber leaves better finish). You will able to paint all the walls and also the corners without stopping. But of course you still will have to cut in the border of the ceiling with a brush. All together you will save lots of time
The idea Is you can roll the entire room with the roller cover (assuming everything is the same color of course). It's not just a corner gimmick... it's the 2.0 of a 9 inch paint roller cover.
Have you bothered with a review after you've used it? That would be more useful. Why is anyone better informed about the product knowing you've bought one?
I want to try it! but before I order, I want to know when using for ceilings onto walls, does it leave any thicker paint drips or "spinning" tracks on the walls that is noticeable when you get to cutting in the upper walls?? I picture a potential texture problem on the walls but maybe not. What say you guys?
Scott cheney like they said it can be used for the same color in the corners but even if you are painting the ceilings a different color this is also the fastest way to do that I used to use the wizz rollers like this but these eliminate the need for that because this does both
Is this your product? I’m googling this item and can’t find anything like this? I’m assuming this is patented? I can find it on your site and on amazon too. I wasn’t able to find competitor that makes this type of style with the rounded end. Thanks and congrats. Great show.
I have one question if you could reply back to me what do you do about all the stippling from all that paint in the corner at the top when you're trying to cut in later the wall color
Nothing new... sherwin williams sells a 4 inch, 1/2 inch nap that has the nap on the edges. They're 14$ for 6. We haven't climbed ladders to cut in ceilings for years
I'm with ya. I literally just performed this activity yesterday with a normal 9" cover. But, I can also roll within a half inch of a ceiling. Technique!
Wont look as good, normal rollers scrape if taken wall to wall costing more time. Dont believe me try a mini purdy roller that is rounded off on the end
No, let me help you! nap size=lenght of the material on the roller. This is what holds the paint frame size= 1. the diameter of the roller. 2. the length of the roller frame that can be 9, 12, 14, 18 inch In the USA the frame diameter size is 1/2 inch, So Wooster frames are also 1/2 inch, so this roller is good with the 9 inch long wooster frame In the UK the frame and the diameter is 3/4(also the very good polish dolphin roller frames are 3/4 so no good for this roller)

Bought them from your site, they don’t fit any of my cages. 1/2” of the cage is left uncovered. Paint flys everywhere.
Are you using a 9” cage or a Canadian spec cage? The 9” should work fine.
Do they have it in a four inch corner roller as well
what kind of texture does the edge create? seems like you'd get weird circle patterns. will that dry weird? can you cover that with roller texture?
