@@oureverydaygetaway I know you used to be able to buy T-shirts with all the different kinds of scat identified. Don’t know how big a seller they were. I think the ones with all the claw and hoof prints identified sold better. Honestly it’s not a bad thing to be able to identify both. Humans aren’t necessarily top of the food chain in the wild. Back around Banff You were really lucky to see that bear frolic in the water like that. I’ve saw more bear in my life than I can count and have never saw that. It was pretty cool to watch. Thank you.

Hi C&K sad news if you have not heard Jasper is now on fire lighting strikes started 3 wildfires one of which has reached the town. Have heard reports of the Maline Lake Lodge is burning, it has reached the Jasper Park Lodge as well as other structures in the town are on fire. 😢😢 not positive I know but reality. Stay safe out there everyone 😢😢

My wife of 56yrs no longer aware and breast cancer inoperable. But our life together has been awesome...she was the quick wit while I as an engineer was ever data driven. Like you two, We laughed and kidded each other and loved the outdoors. No regrets.

Catrina is onto more than she is being given credit for. I had a series of books for my kids on outdoors. One was on identifying animal tracks and scat. BOTH, not just one. Also there is such words in our language as scatologist and scatalogical science for a reason! No teasing. :) She is right.

We are attempting to boon-dock, we will have water and power without septic for 14 days with 7 kids. Then we are gonna try it with just solar and then without water. Taking small steps to get use to boon-docking is definitely helpful.

Someone just suggested an app called woo poo. 😲 Yes, that was the Prairie Dogs. Very much suggest you guys stay at this campground if you travel to Jasper.
Sorry I missed your videos. Just been busy with Dr visits and having trouble with internet. Had someone try to fix it but it didn’t get fixed then I called my provider and they fixed it with walking through with me. It’s all good for now. So I’m watching this video now.
If you hadn’t heard already.. at this point 30 % of Jasper ( TOWNSITE) has burnt to the ground All the tourists and residents (25 thousands total) were evacuated safely starting Monday night. Some back county hikers may be missing. Pretty bad. You were lucky to see it before the burn. Take care.
did you guys stop @ Pokahontas & do the hike into the old townsite? Pokahontas was a coal mining town ( pictures can be seen in the Pokahontas cabins main building across from the parking for the hike into the town site.
So glad you two are having a great time. That bathhouse looks really nice. You don't see one like that here in PA. While we do plan on making a trip to Alaska, but after watching your videos, I bet a trip to the Banff/ Jasper area would be great if Alaska were not in the cards. JS. Continued safe travels.
If you know anything about Chris the bathhouse is one of his biggest pet peeves. So far if we had the opportunity to go back we would spend the most time in the Jasper area. It's that spectacular!
You inspire me to stop at places before getting to Alaska. I am making a point to go to that campground and hangout for a few days. Definitely doing the sky tram and hike to the summit, god willing. Stay safe and can't wait to see where you go next!
What a nice campground. You can boon dock and full hook ups. And wash your dishes too! That’s so cool. That’s different you have keep pressing a button to shower. But st least it’s hot water. Pretty nice! I wouldn’t mind that. Love you both! You are so funny when it comes to cleaning. I heard about Jasper today. There are fires today that are brewing there. We getting California fires again. Plus Nevadas.

Time to give u guys some pro tips. Pee outside Chris pick a tree and water it lol. Kb pee in a solo cup and dump it outside.. used tp goes in a doggy bag ,not the black tank.. safes a ton of space. Dump ur Grey tank anytime u want, just run ur hose out as far as u can.. Have water jugs u can fill up to add to ur fresh tank.. This is tips from a long time pro!!
oh yes you need a poop app so when you do the poop facial you know what kind of facial you are having😁 Appreciate so much traveling with you.😊 Almost as much fun as when you mooch docked at Stoney Acres....oh ok, even more fun😂
