For starters, let us all take into account that the entire setting was a dream. The dream of a girl who recently experienced loss. In the beginning, the parents discuss the oddity of her lack of tears due to the loss of her dear companion. Any child of her age would cry. It was only during the dream that she shows her built-up emotion. You see, it was stated that this world was the realm of the girl's heart. Initially, this place was dark and lacked "stars." We will assume the number of stars symbolizes how she feels. She also herself described the place as dark despite Yoru, the bird-like entity, finding peace in such a place. When the girl told Yoru that her dog must be "hurt and lost", Yoru told her that she is the same way. This was metaphorically used to describe her as hurt and lost emotionally. She is lost in terms of knowing how to feel. The night world, Yoru, this entire dream, in fact, is there to give her that guidance. When the girl finally breaks into tears as she reunited with her dog, she is able to feel relief as she reminisces about the time she spent with him. The world was bright, and she was at peace. Finally, Yoru gives his farewells, stating that the next time they meet will be when the night is starless; that hardship and/or pain is inevitable in life, and in that time, the night will be there to guide her. Phenomenal -This was a joke, good short nevertheless
I’ve always hated the darkness before especially when I was little. It scares me and it feels lonely, but as I grew in life everyday, I discovered that darkness is not scary at all. It became my friend, it became the only place and time for me to be free, be true, and be sincere to my emotions, without the fear of it being seen (just like what Yoru said). I’m so lucky that this video was released today, the MV may have been released earlier, but what makes this video special is that it explains the MV in a lot more better meaning. It’s actually my 18th Birthday today and even though I wasn’t able to celebrate it with anyone nor my friends greeted me for my birthday, for me Aimer gave me a wonderful gift today. ✨ Aimer’s musics had always helped me so much especially this year. She’s the only artist I’ve known that were able to express deep emotions and feelings in such a way it makes her voice and music unique as well. Her lyrics are so heartwarming and sincere ~♥️✨ Thank you so much Aimer! 🥺🌕🌌
😌 I think this short anime really suits with Aimer since it has picture book's art style. I recall Aimer has said on interview that she wants to make picture book for kids 🤗. And, even the theme is very Aimer-like: "Night World". For now, I'm already grateful that she makes "Trill" song as my lullaby. Can't wait for the short anime too.

This was so beautiful, I lost my 12 year old pup, she was still my baby, and I didn't wanted to talk about it because it would make it real, so I denied it a whole week, and I finally talked about it and this just reminded me of her because she was a chocolate lab and she was also called Choco at time, but her name was Suki. This video brought tears to my eyes but it also brought peace to my heart.

トリルの入り方が本当に綺麗で、アニメのためにあるかのよう。
普段アニメやドラマで全く泣く事がないのに、気付いたらポロッと泣いてた。
