    Thanks Will. Didn't follow you for a while as more and more tennis sites show up on RUclips. But I remember you were one of the first people appearing on RUclips and talking about tennis. As regards the short cross court forehands of Djokovic you are talking of in the beginning, it is to be noted that Djokovic is playing on Nadal's backhand which is why this ball is a good weapon against lefties.It is much more dangerous to do this against right-handers who then have opportunities to use their (usually better) forehand to play down the line which is the open court side. Greetings from Germany.

    Hahaha, when did this guy become so funny. Really entertaining yes! 3:09 "Statistically speaking, you are probably not Novak Djokovic" made me lol

  • @franksampson477

    I did not recognize that Djokovic was using these tactics and it's really helpful to get this insight. I'll definitely be employing these in my upcoming matches. And because no-one has ever mistaken me for Novak, I am going to aim for a slightly bigger target on the cross court shot. Great analysis and very funny!

    Excellent analysis. Rafa fan here and I despise(maybe more like dislike) Novak for his behaviour on the court. However, the way Novak has improved his game (especially his serve since 2010 and forehands since 2014-2015) he is probably the best learner to have ever played this game. His net game that used to be joke even as recently as 2015 for a world #1 was insane this 2021 wimbledon. Add this to his mental strength and his defense/movement, though Fed is easily the most enjoyable/talented to watch, Rafa the maybe more entertaining(human drama/emotion) since you can see the superhuman effort in each point, Nole is simply be the GOAT.

      This is just media hype on Djokovic behaviour!
      Remember Rafa behaviour last year ATP Cup final? But no it's not going to discuss...

    • @kartkan
      @kartkan 3 года назад +1

      @@subhashis_M Right. Its the media's fault. The media is making him smash rackets almost every other match, throw his racket into the stands, scream at him box/crowd, hit the ball at the side boards/at line judge. I have personally seen him scream at his box and felt it because I was sitting right behind them in Cincinatti in 2018. Only blind fanatics would compare his behavior to Rafa's or Fed's. I would be embarrassed if anyone I know or supported behaved like that on court. To each his own I guess. However, I still think he is the GOAT.

    • @D_LEGEND
      @D_LEGEND 3 года назад +1

      @@kartkan there is absolutely no problem with racquet smashes, especially if you gift raquets more frequently than anyone else on tour to children.
      But even if he didn't do that, there is nothing wrong with smashing racquets. Heck the Hulk is one of the most popular avengers, aaaand I would argue Rafa is doing the politically correct approach (also i never see him gifting racquets after matches btw) and fed grew up in a sterile society, where even if you look at someone wrong you could get sued......no thanks.
      I would take racquet smashing any day over that 🤣🤣🤣

      @namae190 3 года назад

      As a Fed fan, agreed on most points including the GOAT. My only point of contention is, in terms of mental strength, Fed and Rafa are way better than him. In fact, the only opponent that has been able to beat him since 2011 was himself (except for a very few occasions where he was really beaten, and the injury period in 2017)
