It's a new sister company that Bandai created for the specific purpose of creating and mastering their Action Figure and Model Kit lines, using the blue logo to differentiate themselves. So the Red logo still exists, it just won't be on the model kits any longer, and from the looks of it they made the right choice to have a group SPECIFICALLY dedicated to the models and figures because both the ones they released under the Spirits company have been fantastic, and I'm sure you agree.

Dont forget the inferior low-durability thin PS joints instead of superior THICC ABS and STURDY POM joints, the lack of tamopograph printed faceplates, the awkward body proportions due to compromising on plamo tech using existing gunpla tech (instead of replacing soft polycaps with superior ABS parts and completely reengineering the joints and body construction going from Frame Arms to Frame Arms Girls), and the inferior hips and thighs construction.
In all honesty, koto kits use cheap plastics, bad joints, parts keeps on popping out, the risk of buying a prototype. With the figurise standar, you could paint the face and parts to fix the inaccurate colors. Also, no extra parts, it's cheap.

I just have to disagree on one thing, megami device are definitely superior engineering wise over the other girl kits. Machineca body reigns. Edit: Her lower body does have a rocking joint that allows her to arch backwards at the waist. So she's got more articulation than the older girl kits too

Hey Mecha Gaikotsu I have some tips to share to fix the Loheng-rinko a bit: 1. paint her eyelashes with black (I used stickers for the eyes as I don't have other color paints, but you can still paint those). 2. Give her face a livelier color by using pink real-touch marker. Apply on the face and rub it with cotton buds to give it an even layer (kinda like makeup). 3. This is just my opinion, but I think Loheng-Rinko looks better if you use the shorter eye part and not use the clear part over it than the longer eye part.
Not sure if they would work for this kit, but I’ve seen water slide decals for the eyes of Kotobukiya’s Frame Arms Girls kits. Could be a good alternative to the eye stickers that come with this kit.
You comparing to two old Kotobukiya Kits Gourai is old as hell and Sol Hornet is old too. Go buy a Frame Arms Girl Hresvelgr (pick any out of the 5) or Baihu and Megami Device Number 5 and beyond (5-6 Asra Ninja and Archer, 7-8 Magical Girl and Witch) Diver Nami is better than the other Bandai Girl no way in hell is it better than the ones I listed. Top of that there a Gourai Kai ver.2 coming out next year.

Um, dude, they first jumped the gun with this scale of figures in the line called Figure-rise-6, a short-lived line of suit-style characters from Tiger & Bunny and Kamen Rider (specifically Kabuto and Faiz). Well, the Standard line was initially meant for just Dragon Ball, but everything changed when Active Raid came around. Now they also brought in Kamen Rider and Naruto in the line alongside Build Divers, and we are expecting stuff like Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and even everyone's favorite Gunpla Ninja, Ayame!

Kotobukiya still holds the edge on mecha musume model kits tbh. Sure they're 20-30 USD pricier, but the quality shows it as well. Also they come with prepainted faces w/ eye expressions. And some koto kits (like the Megaman and Medabots) come with prepainted parts as well so while Bandai is on the right step, they still need to up their game. Something tells me that mecha is a bit too bias to Bandai given how much praises he giving it when comparing to the likes like FA Girl.
That cause he reviewed two old as hell kits and think that all of Kotobukiya kits. He review Gourai Kai (which used the old as hell Gourai Body) and Megami Device number 3 Sol Hornet (which is using old tech from number 1 & 2 WISM). Why not paint it yourself? I painted the eyes of my collection using only two markers, black and blue. You can wipe off the excess for lighter blue.
