this video was just what i needed to watch! was looking up ceramic keycaps and was thinking of pairing it with akko cream yellow pro, and there you are with the build I'm looking into 😊 thank you for such a well put together review!
Hi, just wanted to say that this is one of the best-sounding keyboards I've ever heard! I'm a huge fan of your QK65 build and actually watched your build guide (crazy that it's already been over a year) I just had a question--did you ever bother to film your Cream Yellow Pros after lubing? And if you did, can you share what films you use? Very thankful for all your vids, switch comparisons, and keyboard reviews!☺
Hello!! Wow, thank you for such a wonderful comment!!! I can't believe it's been a year since I filmed the original QK65 video.. so many new boards have come out since then! I never bothered filming the Cream Yellow Pros, and I never opened them up to lube them, in fact. They were smooth enough right out of the box for me! Thank you again for the comment, hope to see you in future videos as well 🌞
@@TAZAKEY Thank you so much for your kind response!🙂I'm actually trying to do a similar build on my own QK65 haha. It's so cool that your switches were smooth right out of the box. One last question: for your build in the video, did you keep the silicone dampener in your QK65 along with all the stock PE foam that came with the board?
They're also very smooth to the touch! Some people have had alignment issues with these keycaps in the past but the batch I got didn't really have any issues. If you like the sound and the idea of ceramic keycaps, I would definitely recommend these!
Hi Im curious whats your lighting setup for your keyboard vids? it looks so natural like a sunlight source. or this is really from a sunlight from a window?
Hello! Interesting question! It's not sunlight actually, it's just two LED lights that I have angled to the side. The exact model is Ulanzi VL49. I'm actually looking to upgrade to a stronger light source later this year though since these two have just been "good enough". Thank you for the question!
@@TAZAKEY thats really nice. those are small led lights, but you use it very well. it seems like coming from a large light source. Great job utilizing the lights.
Love the thock thock! I can listen to it all day... Thank you for typing on our white ceramic keycaps!🥰
Thank you, Cerakey!
One of the more unique product offerings in the keyboard space which is becoming more and more commoditized 🌞

@@jecstrike Appreciate the comment - thank you so much for the question!! 🌞
what stabs did you use?
These are Owlstabs that came with the QK65! Lubed with Krytox 205g0 for housings and dielectric grease for the wire
