All. Of. This. People get offended when they hear "If you can't love yourself how in the hell you gonna love somebody else," but it's the tea. You can't give out what you don't have for yourself, and hoping your partner is going to save you opens the door to a whole lot of unhealthy dynamics (codependency, abuse, becoming the abuser, etc.)
